In the past 2 weeks I noticed a strong pulse on my abdomen, I also noticed that it is localized to the left side of my belly button and only notice this when laying on my back. I only notice this heavy pulse (it matches my heartbeat) when I press into my stomach - when I do that, I can see my entire hand pulsing up and down from the heartbeat. It is very strong and today I noticed a small bulge on that side too (about 1 inch or so) again localized on the left side of my belly button - slightly lower. I have a doctor appt scheduled for next week but am sick with worry about this today. Could this be pregnancy related? Does anyone have similar problems or any advice to offer? Other symptoms I have: cramping (could be birthcontrol pill related), slight back pain, a full-sensation in my stomach, no appetite.
I was curious as to what you found out from your doctors appointment, i have the same symptoms, but am definitely not pregnant. i'd love to hear what you found out though, thanks
I am also having the same symptoms when I place my hand on my left side of my stomach, there is a heartbeat like sound present. Also have a tubal ligation that failed when I first had the tubal ligation surgery done. So, this is why I had the Paragard IUD implanted almost 11 years ago. I just recently had my IUD removed about 4 wks ago, but have also missed my period for this month. I took a blood pregnancy test today and will have the results tomorrow.

If you know about anatomy, your aorta, the biggest artery in your body leaves the heart and travels down throught the back of the abdomen before splitting and going into your legs.
Most likely this is the cause for the pulsing,

okay so i have noticed, in the past month or two there has been alot of sharp pains in my right side of my hips, like ovary or tube related area. i have also noticed when i lay on my back i can feel in my lower abdomen below belly button some sort of lump or something.. i just know somethings there and i can feel it when im just laying on my side and stuff too.
it was bothering me the other day (the buldgy thingy)
so i finally went to the er. they did an ultrasound but i have an retroverted uterus so they had to do a introvaginal altrasound, where they found fluid on the outside of my uterus around or above it or something. they recommended me to go see an OB GYN. i havnt yet but can anyone help me out?

irratibility
all negative urine preg tests
dizziness
fatigue
extremely aggitatable/ mood swings
frequent urge to pee
dry mouth
legs feel like circulation gets cut off somewhat sometimes especially in early am when taking a shower
feel sick after eating breakfast
reoccurent nausea
vaginal whiteish drainage, spotting, and some brown drainage
um yeah. i think thats it?
idk any help in some direction would be great. =/

i have exactly the same the pulsing is not my heart. its far too quick (about 3 beats in a second - very erratic) and right under my left side of my rib cage with lots of pain in my right side of my stomach (closer to my hip). i have no appetite and not much bowel movement and stomach is very extended - but not pregnant... did anyone find any answers? i can relate to all the symptoms mentioned in the posts below
i have the same symptoms too,but haven't seek for a doctor coz i am scared of what might the doctor will tell me... :-(
Look up peptic ulcers.
I had similiar symptoms....went to the doctor and apparently I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Hope this helps.
Hey. I wanted to find out if you were pregnant. I basically had the same symptoms... from nausea.. heartbeat in stomach, fatigue, and even discharge. To only find out I was a month and a half pregnant!
Hi, just came across this while looking for something else and felt I had to respond. I had this same thing. It used to feel like a thickened, pulsating 'thing' in my belly to the left of my belly button. It was found during a pre-op assessment and I got a little worried when the Doctor palpated it, looked very excited and ran away to get his superior down! he also palpated it and told me, it is nothing to worry about, it is the main aorta......but I was possibly the smallest adult female they had seen in years and in fatter, older people it is rarely felt, then he added, it was the largest one he had 'seen' in 25 years!!!!!! Hope this uts your minds at rest!!
Look up fibromyalgia and I think you will find it relates to this. Additionally many of the symptoms listed also match.

for me wouldnt stop there tbh im picturing this is something to do with inlarged veins or something
5 weeks ago... for 2 weeks i pretty much hit the gym hard each day eating 1200 cals a day only water... last day i smashed bike riding and next thing i know it i seen the lump while chilling at my pc
turns out thats when the dull pain kicked in ...
acid reflux ? stool blockage ? ....tumor ? im fricking scared
my dr said it aint no peptic ulcer or hernia...
my cat scans r coming up soon.............
