OK, if this happens what most of my medical colleagues and I recommend is taking aprox. 2 mg (1/4 of an 8-2 mg strip) every half hour or hour until symptoms are gone. That's the ONLY relief available at this time. The only cure for this is prevention. But the sequence stated above will bring you relief if something goes like this arises. I'm on a Methadone script(60mg a day) and a few years back I still had Heroin on my mind and went on a 3-4 day bender on Heroine and various Benzos. On the last day of my lapse, I ended up crushing half of a 4mg Suboxone and put it into my syringe and decided to cautiously push the plunger, well 10cc's in and BANG!!! Instant withdrawal!!! The worst feeling in my life, was all pins&needles all over and pupils went like flying saucers and didn't know whether to stand up, sit down then had to run to the bathroom to venture my bowels and stomach at the same time!! After 5-10 minz or so once I could confidently leave the bathroom, I went and got the last 3 days worth of Methadone I'd saved (180mg) whilst on my bender and guzzler it down and then drank a super hot cup of coffee to make it kick in quicker!! After 20-30 mins the Methadone had taken control and my ordeal was over! By far the worst drugs experience of my life!!
Take enough Opiates and you can override the blocking effect! I dono' for sure where this forum is based, I'm assuming the US or Canada?! I'm from and live in the UK, and over here if your on Suboxone for whatever reason, you can get a card for your wallet or a bracelet to say your on Suboxone so that if your in some sort of accident or major trauma, the attending Doctors know to give you an extra high dose of an Opiate (since Opiates are the only real effective family of drugs for combating extreme pain) to bypass the Naloxone in your Subys!

You can take any opiates or methadone 5 min. After taking suboxone. You just wont feel it. . .

You're not 3.5 years clean! Taking methadone or subs is treating the addiction, but you're not "clean" until you don't take anything. I hate to see or hear that a person is clean on replacement therapy drugs. Not the case. Clean means exactly that.

I learned the hard way if you mix suboxone and methadone you can get very sick,! It was worse than withdrawals ! I was very sick for 3 days! And you will be running to the bathroom every 20 minutes.. I would not recommend anyone mixing these 2 drugs!

Absolute rubbish. I was on Methadone 20 years, on/off, also done the subutex. Eventually when I’d had enough of killing myself I got my methadone down to 10 mls a day. Then swapped straight to subutex 4mg.. There were no withdrawals swapped over apart from not great sleeping for a few days, but what you’re doing is just removing one drug for another.. You have an addiction to anything you can abuse.. Depression.. What is depression and how does it occur. Don’t listen to doctors as they’re paid to keep you addicted.. Depression is our own negative thoughts... Only we can change those thoughts. I quit all my meds’ including 100 mg Trazadone. Stopping any meds is as hard as the person makes it jyst with thoughts alone

I can tell you this I have been on Suboxone for 10 years and if you have a 120 mg of liquid methadone in your possession that you want to take. Wait 24 hours after last dose of Suboxone and then methadone will definitely cut through and get you high. Everybody is different though I myself have a very rapid metabolism somebody who is overweight May metabolize things much slower and furthermore I have went right back to taking Suboxone two days after taking one dose of methadone and felt fine, just to clear the waters with anybody who needs to know it. seems like too much mixed results in here take it from somebody who already knows

I took about 1/4 of a suboxen strip earlier around 4 would it be ok to take just 1 10 mg methadone around 10pm
