suffer from migrains and sickness with aching neck

Iv suffered from migraines for a number of years with sickness, iv been prescribed many different tablets even ones I have to take every day, but I'm always feeling Ill and I don't think it's right I'm getting bad heads roughly 5 times a week the back of my neck aches and throbs and I feel sick with it, I have been told off a friend to ask for a MRI scan? Can some one please direct me in the right direction thanks
