Hello, I just got a Circumsion done yesterday and the pain of the head hurts so much... and when I pee it starts to burn and goes everywhere... I don't think I'll be able to touch it at all. I haven't even seen the stitches yet because I still have the cast on it. I'm really scared and don't know what to do. Btw I'm 17

I had mine done this morning at 10:30am, it's not 20:10 and I haven't noticed any pain at all, other than a slight awkward feeling when it rubbed against my boxer shorts. I think that they sensitivity will impact me the most but I am going to try one of those Epsom salt baths in about 3 days and do that daily. My bandage is still on so I haven't actually seen the full results just yet. Will let you know how I get on.

I see too many people worrying about the sensitivity of the penis head. This is low priority, it will feel normal in about 11-16 days. Your Total Absolute Focus should be in HEALING. Here's how it went for me so far (19 days ago).

Day 1 - I got checked in for the operation, waited almost 2 hours for the whole thing to start. Once they put me to sleep, i woke up like nothing happened. No pain, except feeling really thirsty. After the anesthesia started to wear off, I began feeling some minor pain but nothing that can't be handled. Before going home, the nurse made me walk for a minute to see if everything was alright. They told me not to shower for the first 24. The instructions were to take off the first dressing (white gouze) and second dressing ( a yellow gouze) after 24 hours and before or after taking the first shower and to take tylenol every 6 hours and apply Bacitracin twice a day. After I went home and pee for the first time, i felt some minor 1-2 second burn while peeing. Second time, i felt no pain. REMEMBER to set up your follow-up appointment within the first 24 hours.

Day 2 & 3 - second day was no shower day. I just relaxed and tried not to move a lot. I bleed a little tru the gauze but i used a thick layer of tissue paper so my clothes wouldn't get all bloody. Day 3 was shower day. Before taking a shower i took the white dressing off. It was completely covered in blood. Then i took off the yellow dressing which was difficult to do due to the dried blood; I started to bleed after taking the yellow dressing off. I took toilet paper and cover the area from where it was bleeding (like drops of blood) untill it stopped (it took almost 5 minutes, maybe i should have done it While showering). So i took a shower, I didn't use any kind of soap over the stitches, just warm water to clean it. Afterwards i was still dropping little drops of blood so i did the same thing again until it stopped. I went to eat after 30 minutes and unfortunately i sat in an L position while i was eating, which forced my penis to shrink and open some stitches. I bleed for a while, went tru half a toilet paper roll and had to change my clothes. So for you guys try not to sit straight for the first 9 days. When the night came, the sensitivity of my penis head was starting to get annoying. I used a sterile gauze pad, not the ones that expands which you can see tru them, but the ones that are absorbent. I folded it around the stitches and use a small tape that's in the first aid kit to tie them together. You will need a lot of these, you will have to change it every time you pee and take a shower. Don't forget to use Bacitracin (preferably a thick layer covering the stitches) twice daily or every time after you wet your penis. And drink your prescribed tylenol before sleeping it will make your life easier. Try to sleep STRAIGHT FACING UP, don't turn to the sides or face down because it will hurt you.

Day 4&5 - It's normal to wake up in pain during the night because of boners and morning wood, just try to calm your penis down lol. At day 4 I followed the same routine as any other day, i just noticed the tip of the head of my penis was getting dried and forming an extra layer of skin, i got worried it would close the hole of the penis, which it did at day # 5. To fix this, just use Bacitracin all over the penis head and it will stay moist and whenever you have to pee, use toilet paper soaked in warm water and press it on the tip of the penis until it breaks the layer of skin. This is something I didn't do at day 5. I tried to pee while the dried layer of skin was over my penis hole, and the pee wouldn't come out for like 2-3 seconds, then i pushed really hard and it broke tru, hurting myself a little and prolonging the recovery process. So if this happens to you, remember to wet the head of the penis before peeing until the layer of skin brakes and also use Bacitracin to keep the penis head moist.

Day 6 to 9 - Everything is going well and healing wonderfully. For the sensitivity of the penis head i just used the sterile gauze pad and cover it over the stitches and it also would cover the head as well. Downside is that it makes it look like you're always having a boner and if freaks people out if you need to do errands. Like they keep looking down and up and down, and gives you the weird looks lol and you just have to keep walking like nothing is happening. Anyways day 6 was alright, but day 7 while i was taking a shower I started to bleed again, i think it was because one of my stitches fell off prematurely.. I had to go to the hospital/ emergency room becuase i was really bleeding a lot this time and i got worried. My penis head got all white because i lost considerable amount of blood. But all got better at the hospital after waiting for like 3 hours to be attended. The bleeding stopped and my penis got healthy again. The following day i had my followup appointment and told the doctor everything that has happened. Everything i went tru just prolonged my recovery and healing process.

Day 10 to 13 - almost all of the dissolvable stitches are gone, except some underneath the penis. I noticed a few yellowish dots almost similar to pimples in the side of the penis head, i was worried it was some kind of infection but I noticed it was drying and just kept waiting to see how it went. The sensitivity of the penis head is significantly lower, just a weird feeling when it touches and rubs with clothing. Im no longer using any sterile gauze pad, im just letting everything breath and heal. At day 11 and 13 im able to walk normally without minding the sensitivity of the penis head. All my focus is on healing, you should do the same. At this point I could no longer suppress the urge to masturbate because its been a while ya know lol. Im even having erotic dreams while sleeping, like really really x rated dreams, guess its just my body telling me to release some sperms LMAO.

Day 13 to Present (day 20) - healing it's going perfectly. Just remember to keep good hygiene, use Bacitracin twice a day and don't be shy, use a really thick layer of Bacitracin (suggested by my doctor). The urge to masturbate keeps getting stronger each day, i tried to at day 16 but kinda felt like a burn from the yellowish dots i had (which have been disappearing each day, almost gone right now) At the moment its just skin that needs to heal. I cover it with Bacitracin to prevent any infection. At day 19 I really tried and finally got it over with, And it felt Awesome. At least this will give some days to focus on recovery more than the boners lol. I noticed that the layer of dried skin over the tip of the penis hole is no longer present, so this is great. And thats how its been so far. Everything is well and just a few stitches left to dissolve. Again focus more on recovery and healing, i tried the epson salt bath using a glass jar and inserting my penis in it, but that didn't do any justice. So i have an appointment with my doctor in 3 weeks. Will post updates. I hope this helps people! :)

Day 20 to present (day 24) - everything is going super well. All healed up even all of the previous wounds. Last of the stitches will probably go off this week. Like I mentioned at the last post, the sensitivity is low priority and atm its pretty much gone. Still applying the Bacitracin just to make sure, will probably do so for the next 2 weeks. The dried layer of skin that used to cover the pee hole is no longer forming as well. So overall everything is good, thanks God. Read my previous post and see if it can help you. Thanks and wish the best of recovery!

I'm on Day 15 and its still not great. Sensitivity is still and issue, I can tap the glans but still feel some pain when fingers pull away, the same if any underwear rubs on it.
I have to wrap a vaseline covered gauze around it and wear tight briefs to keep everything still.
Even then it can hurt if the remaining skin (loose circumcised) rolls over the swollen band under the head.
Have to be so careful in everyday situations like lying in bed so the head doesn't touch anything. Hate this.
Really regret having it done, as I was totally comfy before I just couldn't have penetrative sex (which I'm not even that bothered about).
So I sacrificed my everyday happiness and comfort for the potential to possibly have intercourse which is unlikely anyway.
So depressed about this

It will get easier you just have to be patient with it, although I think covering the glands in vaseline an gauze will just prolong the sensitivity as the skin on the glands can't dry out like it needs to so the skin can thicken up.
May I ask for what reason you wasn't able to have penetrative sex?

I am trying to just use a dry gauze without vaseline, as least its not moistening the glans then. The glans can get quite sore going 'bareback' on just briefs and has more tendency to turtle in on itself.
Sitting down is the main problem. I'm due back at work Monday (which means I'd have had 3 weeks off) and my job is mostly driving with lots of getting in an out. I think sitting down moves the penis too much unless I hold it, which is causing the problems getting back up.

As for sex, the foreskin was too tight to retract and thus the glans super sensitive. I couldn't put a condom on for a start, and entering a vagina meant the skin would start to pull back and I couldn't stand it

As an uncircumcised male and when I first started to retract my foreskin as you say the glands were sensitive but I found that the more I could keep my foreskin back the faster the sensitivity went because the glands dried out and became less sticky I also found that cleaning the head with surgical spirits/rubbing alcohol depending where your from helped dry the skin and help it thicken up I also found that the best time was at night to keep my glands uncovered as you can either year thin light weight bottoms or sleep with nothing on, after about a month I found I could keep my foreskin back all the time even with loose boxes shorts or even commando in jeans with no irritation at all
Did you ever try or was you ever advised to try stretching exercises to help loosen up you tight foreskin? I don't understand though why you couldn't put a condom on though as you don't need to retract the foreskin to do it or why you couldn't enter a vagina because there are plenty of guys that have tight foreskins that won't retract but have a healthy penetrative sex life it's just a case of needing to use more lubricant and get her relaxed.
