Another good strategy is wearing tight briefs it will hurt at first but the glans will get used to the clothing and after a week or so it should be a lot less sensitive

Hello. I've just had a circumcision operation due to phimosis and as expected my gland is very sensitive. I've been wearing loose boxer shorts which have been very uncomfortable. I've just changed to Y fronts/briefs/budgie smugglers (depending on which part of world you are from) and they are much much more comfortable, which may sound a little counterintuitive. I'm not sure that this will work everyone, however it has worked for me.

Hey how's it going I just got circumcised 2 days ago I'm about to go to sleep right now I'm wearing boxers but I think I should go to sleep naked I'm super sensitive down there and it annoys me when I wear my boxers I have to walk around with one hand pulling my boxer away from the crotch. How did you get the sensitivity to go down? or did it naturally go down as the week progressed.

The sensitivity will go away by itself but you can speed it up by doing this. You simply need to begin by rubbing it all over as often as you can. You could start by using the softest flannel type cloth you can find and gently rub it with that. Then you leave the cloth on the table and just use your fingers as softly or as hard you can stand it. I desensitized myself that way and soon it was pure pleasure to rub my bare glans. I made sure it was clean and dry before I began rubbing and now I always masturbate that way. For even more fun if you have a girlfriend get her to help.

Anyway, it's up to you but you can hasten the desensitization by doing that.

Thank you for responding. Well I was sleeping last night I took the anti-inflammatory pill my doctor told me to take every 6 hours I stopped taking the Tylenol with codeine since the pain mostly left and it was giving headaches , but the stitches are annoying and they bother a lot. So the sensitivity should be gone by the end of the month right?

Probably but you may need to help it along manually. There are parts that don't get rubbed against your clothing very much so you might have to help it out.

I just started lightly touching it with my finger and the sensitivity is still there but it's not as bad. I got circumcised 3 days ago.

It gets better each time you do it and you are in control when you do it on purpose so it's never too much. When you wait for it to happen inside your clothes you have almost no control over it. It can be quite uncomfortable if you have to walk around and you are in public. Even though you may feel kind of stupid sitting there playing with it all by yourself there's a good reason to do it.

I had to go to the doctor's today for a check-up the doctor's office is only 2 blocks away from my house so I was walking slow and paced. I'm getting used to it slowly the thing that bothers me from time to time is the stitches hopefully they will either dissolve or the doctor will get rid of them

Yeah, I can't help you with the stitches, you just have to wait for those to heal and go away. Do you have to have them removed or will they fall out?

The doctor said they will dissolve on their own the sensitivity is slowly fading away which makes me happy. On Saturday I'm going to my friend's house so I'm going to walk there I'm going to try to take my time and not rush things

Hey how's it going man, it's me the guy who got circumcised 15 days ago I'm just writing to let you know that I'm not that sensitive down there like I was 12 days ago . I also don't have painful erections anymore so that's a relief. When I woke up this morning another one of my stitches fell off so that's a relief. Also my glans are peeling it looks ok. I also notice that my glans on each side looks grayish is this normal?, I've been applying the antibiotics as told to as well.

I just had circumcision yesterday due to phimosis and have a few questions about aftercare

-How long should you wait to take the bandage/dressing off? I was told not to get it wet for atleast 1 day so I should be alright to take it off after 2 days?

-Should you replace the bandage/dressing after you have taken the original one off?

-How long does it take for glans to settle down, at the moment they are incredibly sensitive and I cant even wear any underwear without it touching and causing pain.

Thanks
