super sensitive glans after adult circumcision

I got cut sometime in August due to some serious phimosis. Everything was fine until raw sex came into play. It hurt so much that I'd avoid it overall, which does kinda kill the mood if I'm unprepared, so I've been contemplating circumcision for a long time.

Post surgery was terrible; serious pains, penis looking like a crime scene, kinda bummed me out for quite some time. I was given antibiotics and all the other necessary things but it still made me feel like I made an awful decision.
Sleeping was also uncomfortable; I had to cover myself up with a small blanket right until my stomach, then use another blanket to cover my thighs, and sleep on my back. I know how it feels to just have some piece of material touch your glans, so that was the best move for the first four weeks or so.
In that time, I had to try to wear some tight jockeys so I could move around the house clothed. Pained like hell at first because sitting down resulted in movement, standing up resulted in movement, it was just uncomfortable, period. Also, having the glans stick to underwear worked well when you didn't have to move but also hurt whenever I moved. Never forgetting that. It does get better over time.

I'm now 2 months after the surgery, and it definitely pains less overall. I can walk long distances just fine, and I can masturbate if need be. Glans is sensitive in certain places but it is WAY better than the 6 weeks recovery time.

Change is always going to be uncomfortable, but you'll thank yourself for making the decision to get it done. Be patient, and stick to taking the medication given. It will get better.

Guess what? Psychedelics were the ones that made me realize I had to Restore my foreskin from routine infant circumcision. Shrooms made me realize I had a mushroom penis that needs to be covered with foreskin to preserve its integrity

Sleep in the fetel possision. Works best for me, more comfort, zero contact and less stress on the stitches.

Hey everyone I'm 19 and had a circumcision yesterday due to phimosis, and although the head is extremely sensitive all the replies on here have made me feel better that it will get better. the thing I am worried about is under my penis it looks terrible there is multiple lumps of skin is this normal? and will it always look like this?

Hey I'm in the same boat as you with regards to sensitivity and an unsightly lump of flesh under the head after my circumcision 2 days ago, I hope you have now fully recovered can I ask how it looks? like did the lump under the head disappear? thank you

i have the exact problem, i was circumcised 12 weeks ago and my erections are half the original size...is there any way of correcting it

I'm in the same situation as you, ( I'm sure by now you've healed) I made an appointment with urologist and going to ask for circumcision

Hi how was your recovery? It's been 5days for me since I got circ and it's like hell to deal this sensitivity :( I can't concentrate on any thing. Hope things get better soon

How did you do? Have you had it done yet? Did you get a choice of style of circ or just the generic whatever the surgeon feels like doing?

Hey it's been over 4 weeks since my Op now and there is no sensitivity issues, there Is still some way to go for me in terms of the scar healing as it does not look great, I know how you feel with the sensitivity it was horrible for the first few days but make sure when you bath/shower you allow water to touch the head and I'd recommend after showering to gently apply vaseline this will be hard due to the sensitivity but will help you become more accustomed to it you should start seeing improvements after only a few days. my best advice is it will get better you just have to grind it out for the first week or so.

Just had my operation 3 days ago. First off, the only pain during the procedure was the anesthesia needle.

The first two days were uncomfortable. Waking up with a hard on was painful. Getting into fetal position helped. I used Tylenol for the discomfort.

I used bioderm on the incision wound.

The head is sensitive but I expected that. I'm in boxer briefs without gauze. I'm trying to toughen in out. Its bearable.

It looks like a Frankenstein project but I know the swelling will subside. And I'm still sitting down to pee. Tried standing up and the stream went everywhere.

Took a shower on day 3. Just let the water and soap drape over the head. And it felt nice actually. It is still sensitive and some movements and brushes against things activate the nerves but I know it will get better.

I got circumcised 15 days back. Its healing nicely. For sensitivity, I use my baby's diaper liners and roll it around my penis n then wear a tight underwear. This gives a lot of relief and you can roam around easily.

omg we got the same issue i have been circumcised two weeks ago now and the stitches is still on my penis but my dad told me its fine the stitches will still go away but what im worried is my glans what should i wear?? should i wear brief?

How is the pain now? I have also just got a circumcision and I am 20 years old as well and have never seen my glands. Nothing is too bad except when something touches that area. Just wanted to know how long it took for that extreme sensitivity to go away.
