I've been searching the internet but there are so many different sites and answers...I currently don't have any money or anything to afford seeing a doctor or anything so I was hoping someone might be able to help me? Or at least give me an idea of what's going on and how serious it could be?
I noticed maybe a week or so ago that my labia minor on the left side was swollen. It had been itchy before and currently still is. I haven't experienced any pain or discomfort apart from the itching. I have been just trying to wait it out but today I think there may have been some blood-but I can't tell if it's from my period starting or not. I've read that it could just be a scratch? If so, how long would it take for the swelling to go down? Is a week or two too long? It hasn't gotten any MORE swollen but it hasn't gone down any either. It's not physically causing any problems (doesn't hurt to pee etc.) but I'm kind of freaked out. Like I said, I have no money to see a doctor right now and don't really have anyone to ask about this...does it sound like it could just be a scratch/friction-caused (I'm not sexually active right now) and if so how long do you think I can wait it out before somehow finding a doctor? Any suggestions/help??
