I had a small cut on my upper lip that I thought was healing well then after a week it started to be swollen, had drainage, itchy and was painful. I went to see a doctor and he thinks its cellulitis. I started taking antibiotics. Two days later, it was getting worse. I went to see another doctor and he thinks its herpes simplex (cold sores). I started taking antiviral medicine. I have yet to see the outcome. All these from a small cut?
