I have tried both Suboxone and Zubsolv. Esentially, the same exact medications only, Zubsolv has a better mint taste, and causes less nausea. I have been using Zubsolv now for a few months. My particular Dr. wants me to decrease my dosing very slowly and gradually, telling me that I will need to do the program for at least 6 months. Now, that may be just a ploy to keep me coming back.( I pay cash for mine, because I do not want to involve my medical insurance in this.) Still, it's cheaper then vics or Norcs on the street. And, it works. If you are struggling with opiates, and are considering Suboxone or Zubsolv as an alternative, it will definately help you through it. If you have the will power, you can get off after only a week. Unfortunately, for most of us, the first 3 to 5 days of withdrawl are the toughest, and usually what sends me back to the opiates. The headaches and the withdrawl are too much. Suboxone and Zubsolv alleviate the pain and anguish of rebound headaches, nausea, muscle twitching and sleeplessnes. It is however an opiate narcotic. But, if you gradually decrease your dosage, you can stop without any real discomfort or withdrawl symptoms . When I go without it, I do however crave it. But, it is nowhere near the degree of straight Vicodin or Norco withdrawl. If you can afford it, I hear it is better to keep your private insurance out of it. Who knows what they do with the information. My advice,... pay for the Suboxone or Zubsolv for one prescription to ease you away from the dependancy. Then, don't ever start it up again! But, that is of course, the trick!!

I take a 1/4 of a pill a day, if that I'm getting off of it because I suffer from bipolar and need klonopin. I can tell you I've taken Vicodin and suboxne at the same time with no effect at all. I haven't taken suboxne in days and I've only been taking 5/325 two Vicodin a day I refuse to be a slave to these pills. Like the said you are flagged as an addict and it's to hard to treat my bipolar on suboxne. It's not a cure do your time withdraw don't treat your addiction with another addiction
