I have been on the pill now for three years, three or four months ago i switched to trycyclin-low after being on the regular trycyclin for about a year. My periods have always been fine, with some a couple days early and very light. This month though, i started over a week and a half early. It wasnt heavy, but not light either. It was mostly when i used the washroom that i would bleed out, but there was a few times i needed a tampon. This has never happened to me before, even on a regular period. My period stopped the day i started taking the placebo, and ive been expecting it to start again, but it hasnt. On the third day of the placebo i had unprotected sex, is there any chance that i could get pregnant? I havent missed any pills or stopped taking them. The thought wont leave me alone though, should i maybe take a pregnancy test?
If it'll ease your mind take a pregnancy test (if it comes out positive stop taking the pill and see a doctor immediately)
All contraception pills are hormone based so wether it's noticed or not it will effect your body in some way and although you might not of had a noticeable reaction in the past this is most likely what your experiencing now as your body adjusts to a lower dose of the hormone it would normally reciev
