Hi there, that sounds exactly like sinusitis, and it can make your actual sinuses swell. I am glad to hear tha tyou got the solution to your problem though. Thanks for posting this!

I have the same issue and struggling with anxiety and tension now for almost a year and after seeing an ENT thinking I had sinus issues, he also told me its tension headaches. What happens is your tension is held in your face like a mad face? and B.c your muscles are tense it tightens up your whole facial muscles. The bridge of your nose being the tenderess place and around your eyes so it acts as if it is sinus. NSAID's are the only thing that helps mine and i have to take 600mg at a time for mine. I hope this helps! and Please know your NOT the ONLY one!!!

i know this message thread is old, but maybe someone benefits from this. i was experiencing a lot of the same symptoms as other posts - mainly the pain in the bridge of my nose, all the way down to the septum. i constantly felt like my nose was bleeding or i'd been punched in the face. terrible headaches behind / under my eyes too. after some internet research, i decided to give a non-medicated saline mist a try. i had some at home that i bought on a doctor's recommendation for another respiratory/sinus infection last year.
... it was INSTANT relief. i had taken a generic loratadine much earlier in the day but my headache was still raging from the pressure. everything hurt so bad - even my teeth! literally within seconds of using the saline spray i had NO PAIN in my nose and the headache started to subside. who knew that my solution was so effective and so inexpensive?

My girlfriend has had that nose pain, neck, and constant headache for over a year straight. MRI on the sinuses was negative. No doctors can offer a clue and no OTC meds have helped

I have found some of these posts helpful. My husband will be relieved he's not the cause of my nose feeling like it received a blow! I honestly thought his elbow or something hit me in our sleep. But I wondered how I slept through that. The bridge of my nose is very sore when not touched and excruciating when it is touched. I'm sneezing and sound "sinusy". This is the third day for this. My plan is to flush with saline and take Elderberry (a natural antibiotic-like herb) for a couple days and see if that helps. I feel better to know other's have had these same symptoms and my heads not about to fall off or something crazy! XD I'll try to remember to come back in a few days to post if my plan worked or not.

Same here! Feels like someone has punched me hard on the nose. Earlier my lymph gland has swollen (the one under the right cheak bone) and I had a fluctuating temperature. The doctor told me he had NO what it could be and prescribed some cream "in case" there is an infection, Neomycin And Chlorhexidine Hydrochloride Cream. I am not taking it.
Sorry, not much help but before seeing this website I felt like some kind of a weirdo.

I had similar problems and went to an ENT. The scans showed a large concha bullosa. I just had surgery 3 weeks ago. It has removed a lot of the nausea I have felt. And I am taking a 2 pronged attack by getting massages for TMJ and night guards (the ENT said I may have severe TMJ).
So far, I think I am on the right road.

ANYONE NOTICE.... NO ONE has answered... ugh. I notice most of you state your symptoms: headache, sore/tender nose (bridge) when touched, neck pain... have been for "days"... I've had same, but for 3-4 years now! ENT scanned my sinuses, said "No Sinus Disease"... Helpful hint: He didn"t think so PRIOR to scan, based on no pain/tenderness in bones below eyes/cheeks. Neurologist said: "Cluster-Migraines", 7 prescribed Treximet. Whereas I admit the Treximet DOES take the occasional "Migraine" away, there has been NO RELIEF FOR THE CONSTANT NOSE (BRIDGE) PAIN (WHEN TOUCHED... WHEN PUSHED, ALMOST UNBEARABLE!), or the NECK PAIN!
HELP!
Where is a Dr., when you need one???? All of us having the same "family" of symptoms, can't be a coincidence!!!!!

I am having the EXACT same thing. The bridge of my nose is painful, especially with my glasses on that started a week or so ago. The pain has isolated itself now to the left side of my nose and bridge, cheek, and upper teeth and now my headaches are isolated to the left side of my head. I have had a cold and went to the doctor yesterday to get placed on Zpack. I also scheduled myself to see an ENT next month. The pain is severe today causing me to pop Sudafed, which I never do. My eyes feel "strained" and I get some relief when I actually press on the bridge of my nose. My throat is scratchy. My nose is somewhat stuffy but running clear. However, in the mornng I feel my worst as I try to "clear" the back of my nose/throat to spit out a bunch of mucus while taking a hot shower. In most cases, I'll spit up mucuous that is brown/yellow in color. I'm hoping I get relief soon!

I had this last week. It started off with my nose feeling a little sore to touch and it felt like someone had hit me in the nose. After a few days my nose got redder, the pain moved up my nose and got worse. After a few days my nose swelled up. Then my eyes got a bit swollen. After 3 days the swelling went down. I stayed in bed for 3 days as I didnt want food, I felt dizzy and I ached. It even hurt to blink. Its as if the swelling was moving up my face. Anyway in all from start to finish the illness lasted a week. I didnt go to the doctors as I felt too ill to walk there. I didnt take anything. It went on its own. It was a very weird illness. Not had anything like that before........... I never stay in bed, but with this, I felt better lying down. I am back at work now after a week off. I feel ok, apart from jelly legs........

Been experiencing the same symptoms for the last week. I've had allergies in the past (had shots to remedy those back when I was 10-11 years old and I'm now 35), but have NEVER had any sort of sinus issue/inflammation/infection so it was quite a shock to feel this intense pressure seemingly on the bone of the bridge of my nose and also to the right side of my nose. I was also hearing and feeling a squishy sound (like there was fluid) when I would gently squeeze the upper sides of my nose, but nothing ever came out of it.
Well, after 4 days of taking Non-Drowsy Sudafed PE Triple Action, it's all but gone. Just took it twice a day, but the pain has dropped to almost nothing and no more squishy sounds either.
Hope this helps!

I have the same problem except the pain mainly occurs when I'm breathing through my nose. It doesn't often stay for more than a day at a time. Today I blood a lot of blood out of my nose and felt ok for awhile then it came back. The blood was probably from blowing my nose too hard trying to get it to go away the day before. I believe this disorder may be neurological. Would be worth looking into. Please let me know if anyone figures out what this might be.
