I am almost 26 years old with 3 beautiful, healthy children. My husband and I are discussing trying to have another baby. However, about a month ago I went to the doctor for some unusual pain on my right side. I had an ultrasound and it turns out I have a 7 cm cyst on my right ovary. He did tell me that it may be a little harder for me to conceive and that if i did get pregnant, the cyst wouldn't harm the pregnancy. I am wondering if anyone can give me some insight to this situation. Is it harder to conceive with a cyst like that and if I do get preganant, is my pregnancy going to be ok??

Hi there. What your doctor told you is pretty accurate--if you have a cyst, it can make things harder for you to get pregnant because the cyst interferes with the process but you should be just fine. Did they say that they were going to remove the cyst at all?
