Hello. I'm 46 year old male and I would like to find out some information about the book that friend recommended me.
These last ten years I'm suffering from really serious problems with my body weight. To be honest with you, I've tried with some diets but they couldn’t help me so I lost fait.
I have managed to gain more then 50 pounds in last two years and, accordingly to my doctor- this could be a serious threat to my heart and health in generally.
My wife recently saw some book called The Fat Fallacy and supposedly- an author describes how to preserve normal body weight and still eat normally. Did anyone maybe read it?

Hello. I've got this book for my birthday this year from my brother. I'm also having big problems with controlling my weight and that’s why I started to follow some instructions from this book and till now- I have lost more then 39 pounds. This book is about French people and the fact that, French are eating full fat cheeses, bread, creamy sauces, chocolate, wine, after dinner liqueurs, but still don’t have problems with body weight in generally. So, the author mentions some tricks that the French are practicing for centuries. He says that person should take smaller bites and put less onto your plate and that everyone should eat slowly so that he realize he's full, and therefore eat less. He even mentioned alcohol and supposedly a glass of wine should be used with meals. Finish your each meal with a small cup of strong coffee.
