I had this procedure don't yesterday. Bad cramping for 3 hours. No discharge at all. Feeling a bit bloated. Should I be concerned?

4 months in for me and I do have the bloating and slight weight gain mainly afternoon-evening time. It doesn't do my self esteem any good but it's very nice not having a period anymore.

I feel and have had the same symptoms as you. It's been almost 4 years now and I think my PMS (PMDD diagnosis) has actually gotten worse. I have "pouting" spells that lead me to feel as if I can't go on any longer, it's really scary. Plus, when I do have a period, which comes every 40 - 50 days, lasts for 4 - 5 days. My doctor told me if I had a period that lasts 1 day they consider that a successful procedure.
I've had bouts of a smelly discharge, which I've never gone back to the doctor for, I was/am scared to go back for. I've treated them at home with, a Ph-balanced wash or eating plain yogurt, or using plain yogurt vaginally. (Which was the most successful). I have rough cramps, when I do have a period, get severely emotional, and depressed. I wish I would have NEVER chosen the Novasure Ablation, or should I say talked into having it to stop, my crime scene worthy periods, twice a month.

Sorry but if a patient is adamant they do not want any form of medication they can't force it down the patients throat. Maybe the doctor should have refused to do it. There are many other things that could have been done. Who would even have this procedure without medication anyway! I had it done and there's no way in heck I would have done it awake. Best procedure ever! I would do it again if needed.

Age: 48 I had the ablasion and tubal ligation. Prior to, I had an IUD Myrena. This IUD had hormones, which I was concerned that after the ablasion...would I experience hormonal changes without it.
Have there been patience who had their tubes removed/clamped and the ablasion and had the IUD put back in to 1. regulated their periods if the ablasion didn't fix that. or 2. give hormones to help regulate the irregularities of depression, moodiness, overall PMS which you would still get because you have your ovaries and uterus still?
