thick, chunky and green throat mucous in mornings

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have green snot every day all day long, builds up inside my nose may sound gross but I have to dig to get it out most the time cuz its like super glue. Its normally a dark green and dry and sometimes a light green sticking ball here and there but the dark always stays. I broke my nose when I was 18 believe it or not by using my thumb to blow my nose. I had surgery at the beginning of 2013 and a dog hit me in the nose and broke again so once again going for surgery. Since then my snot sticks to my nose more like super super glue and when I get it off my noses gets sore. I have had a pus bubble in my left nostril for a while now started to go away I thought as I was on diff meds for infection but it didnt and now is bigger green has like pus and smells gross when u take the top offHi I was wondering if anyone could help me. I got very sick one yr around easter and after I better I have a ringing in my ears that never goes away and green snot every day of my life nothing seems to kill it. Is there something wrong with my sinuses or something cuz meds etc dont help. I was on antibotics for over a mth straight due to infection even after my surgery and its still here. I am not sick or anything what can make this snot stick around forever with this bump pus bubble that sticks around? Looking for answers so far ny doc cant figure it out and meds do t work. Thanks

I have this problem as well, except mine started after a cold a few months ago, and looks like there is blood in there with the thick green

I have been having the same problem but I am a smoker as well as getting over what has just been a cold. My Temp Has been between 98.8 and 99.8. I found this and am going to try and see if it helps. Hi Everyone - Just came across this blog as its always good to give something back .... I had the green thick mucus mornings also for some 3 yrs now & the usual doctors & X Rays tests, blood tests etc said I was fine also.

I guess we just have to do it ourselves don't we ... well I was using vitamin C tablets to control it & they worked well but taking 1000 mg of vit C a day wasn't really a long term solution because as soon as I stopped taking the C the mucus came back & I ached also but only when I just got up??

Anyway I researched & came across Collidial Silver .... so I bought 2X 500ml bottles & used it as a mouth wash 3 times a day swallowing it afterwards ...... the green mucus mornings are gone! I feel much better all round now also.

if any of you guys and gals have pets you might want to have your sinuses tested for mites, yes mites!

There are nose mites that are coming from wild urban animals, (fox,coyote,deer,racoon etc) to our exploding pet populations.

And also to us which, peviously was thought immpossible. Its happening.

The regular "worm killing" doses of pesticides you give your pets dont kill these. And neither do the high doses you occaisionally poison your pets with for ear mites, mange mites, fleas, ticks, etc!

These mites can be seen by the naked eye, but much easier under a basic microscope.

It's always best and safest to check with your physician to get a proper diagnosis and then treatment. Health professionals are usually quite keen on using both medical/natural remedies. However, using any treatment you googled may be just putting a band aid on the problem and causing more harm to the patient. It is never wise to google a problem and rely on that lay, uneducated advice to cure your self. Simply put, if you are not a doctor, consult them for your health issues!!!

Do you remember the food sensitivity test you had done? Everything you're saying sounds just like my situation, and my most recent doctor said she'd do a blood allergy test after I have my baby, but I want to make sure we include a sensitivity test. I already don't eat gluten and can tell other foods affect the mucus, but it would be nice to have definite results! Thank you!!!

Look up acupressure points for sinuses...especially for ones suffering from the sinus headaches or pressure.

I am not in medicine in any way But I also know that even in the medical community everyone has an agenda! I was distressed to read that you were a nursing student and decided to "call out" a previous poster on a "deletion" when you yourself gave very Sketchy advice ( or at least NOT the WHOLE story! I agree that sometimes Natural Things are the best way to sure things! HOWEVER beware, sometimes they can be dangerous.... I will explain.... I developed a VERY SERIOUS life threatening (I would have died had it not been found) condition. When i first talked to my Specialist he went through a long list of questions.... and one was "what are you taking "at home"...i had taken bee pollen, and ecenachia for a long time to prevent ( successfully ) for colds. HERE IS THE BIG POINT! He looked at me and said DO not take that anymore now that your on these meds.... It will completely counteract the meds you are on! Make no mistake, Natural stuff can be Wonderful BUT CHECK TO MAKE SURE that the COMBINATION of whatever you are taking does not end up making things MUCH WORSE.

Not sure that I understand how you relate 'natural cures' to the product identified. The product sounds like just another commercially prepared concoction flying under the umbrella of Homeopathy. Now, if you had said, 'eat a carrot' I would see that as a natural cure; that is, if it did in fact cure.
