I'm not a doctor, but have experienced the same on several longer-term occasions in my life. I would recommend seeing a doctor, obviously. That said, my episodes were, for the majority, anxiety/panic attack/exhaustion related. I also did strain the muscle while caring for my Dad while he was dying if cancer. I was 29, small, moving around a larger male and under a great deal of stress, with little sleep. I've taken Confianza to naturally help my anxiety, and that's been wonderful. Also, relaxing, elevating your feet, eating properly and stretching is great help, as well as either a heating pad (over clothes, and temporarily ) or wrapping the area with a soft bkanket. It's a comfort technique to soothe.

I hope that helps.

I had all these same symptoms and turns out I have POTS syndrome. A lot of doctors don't know about it. Do some research!

My daughter had similar symptoms after months of tests we gave her a delayed food allergy test. We was highly allergic to whey. We think it was chronic fatigue syndrome caused by they whey products. She cut them out and she is now fine.

I think it’s sinus related or maybe acid reflux. I have the same issue and get sinus infections often. This time around I’ve gotten some small ulcers in my mouth. Feels like there is a string hanging down my throat and it feels real tight. I get dizzy too. Slight tightness in my chest as well. I usually chalked this up to acid reflux but I’m not sure. I did just do a z pack for my sinus infection. The nasty taste/smell went away but that’s it. I feel that I have pressure around my head and face that moves around. When I have all these symptoms I get irritable and feel faint.

Hello, what you are suffering from sounds like anxiety. I have the exact same thing. I've been dealing with it for about four years now and it took me a long time to realise what it was. It is a scary feeling but you can control it. You may not even realise you are anxious but your body does. I often find when I am supposed to be relaxing is when the tight chest and feeling like I'm not getting enough air comes in.
Know that you can control it and you can breathe. Breathing exercises like breathing in for 4, holding for four and exhaling for four help calm the nervous system and shake up the chemical balance in your brain that is causing you to feel anxious. Yoga and meditation really help me and also cutting down on caffeine and alcohol when it feels particularly bad.
There are so many great books and websites with tips to help control anxiety and the symptoms that come with it. Childs pose is great for relieving tightness of chest.
Hope this helps!
