To all of you complaining of these symptoms. I don't want to scare anyone, I'm not a doctor, however I've see. Several neurologists, 5 years ago I was diagnosed with Occipital Neuralgia and Trigeminal neuralgia. This sounds like my nerve related diseases. I get the crawly, tingly, spasms and nerve pain.

Thank you for your post! This is exactly how I have been feeling and it comes and goes, but I have not had a seizure at this point. I did do research and have been using magnesium supplements and magnesium oil. I wanted to ask what you have been using and what works for you? Thanks!

When I was younger, people referred to that situation as "nimbles" - wherein you are in a relationship with someone who has no love for you but your presence is generally beneficial to them. They keep you around in a state of stupidy while you continue to believe that that partner loves you, but at the same time they are tolerating you for the benefit that they are deriving from you.

Have you checked for Parasites? Supposedly they cause all these synptoms.

I have been Googling, "face tingling" and I finally found this page! I was starting to think I was losing my mind as the nightly facial and scalp zap sensations are so strong (not painful) I told a few people about this and I don't know anyone who has experienced this. Blood work normal. Went to a dermatologist, she said it is not my face or skin.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has shared their experiences. It truly has helped me to know that I am not a hypochondriac! :) I am not sure where to go from here as I don't think I have a deficiency blood work fine. Ruled out most of the other possible causes, so I am hoping it might go away on its own.
One final thought ... I was researching about how our bodies have some kind of electricity. Because I seem to get this at night and also, I can feel my hair static and hair standing up. I keep wondering if your hair can move by itself when I am laying down? It sure feels like it does!! Thanks for letting me ramble :)

Hello,
Your description of symptoms is exactally what I have been experiencing for the past 3 months.
Given you wrote this a year ago, would you mind sharing how you are going and if you revived a diagnosis and what you are doing to manage the pain/sensations.

Hello,
I am not sure if your post was for me or someone else who posted. I have not determined why I am experiencing the facial sensations, unfortunately. Everyone I mention this too seems to look at me as thought I am overreacting or strange.
I did more research and this sensation can be related to hypothyroidism, which I have.
