Too much foreskin

Don't worry about it, nothing seems to be wrong from your description. It is not uncommon for it not to retract on its own. That you don't have any problems retracting when erect is a good sign.

It will loosen up more, as you get older, and probably slide more easily. If you'd like to help it, stretch it some.

If you can retract the foreskin fully, you don't have phimosis. Phimosis is when it won't retract.

It may seem that something is wrong, all the boys in my gym class were cut. But that wasn't the way they were born.Many men wish they were like you. Being different in that you are the way you are supposed to be is a good . And your family genes determan how much foreskinn you have, just like all other parts of your body and appearance ,your male family before you from one side or the other,has the same thing. If it really bothers you that much ,, talk to your dad about it, or a cousin that is your same age. You may still grow into it some, your not all the way through puberty. I didn't have to shave more than once or twice a week at your age, but now I have to everyday. Be positive and think of it as a good thing, it is.

The foreskin is an asset and highly beneficial. A long foreskin is more of an asset and more beneficial than a short foreskin.

Long full-length foreskins will not auto-retract on erection. Only inadequate short foreskins will auto-retract. For your skin to go back, the foreskin has to be wide enough to retract over the head.

If your foreskin is wide enough, it will retract if it is shorter than the erect penis. If it is longer, then it will never retract by itself but may be pushed back, however, it may not stay back. Some longer foreskins push forward again when you let go.

You are blessed with a long foreskin.  Since it is longer than the shaft of your penis, it will never automatically retract, but you can push it back.  This is not a problem.

Here in the United States, medically-unnecessary, non-therapeutic circumcision was carried out on infant boys for more than 100 years.   The result is that most Americans have never seen this normal body part which is called the foreskin.   They don't know what is normal.  Most of the information on the Internet and in medical journals is wrong because of this ignorance.

With regard to automatic retraction of the foreskin, it is perfectly normal for a longer foreskin to NOT retract when the penis becomes erect, but you probably cannot find that information on line.
