I just started taking birth control last month. However, I was on the drug called Accutane during my first month. Me and my boyfriend had sex after the first month on birth control without a condom (he did not ejaculate in me). I later realized that the birth control wasn't as effective because of the medicine I was on, so I took the morning after pill the day after I had intercourse. It has been a week and two days since I took the morning after pill and I have been bleeding since Saturday. Is this normal? I was on my period on May 13-May 17. I have read up on that there can be irregular bleeding from just starting birth control and also from the morning after pill. But during my first month on birth control, I had no irregular bleeding. Should I be worried? Or is my body just on an "overdose" or hormones and it's trying to re-cooperate itself again? Oh, and should I stop taking the birth control pills or just continue to take them as I normally have been?
