Hi I am four weeks after surgery and looking great. Still a little swollen right in the middle of scar under belly button, but otherwise looking great. I have been using this new stuff to minimize scars and it does help. The other day though i apparently popped a stitch and thought I had an infection, but the doctor wasn't concerned. I now have a hole at the center of the scar and wonder it if will heal itself without leaving this circle. I called the doctor and got the receptionist and explained that I am concerened, but because he saw it and doesn't need to see me for a month, she says not to worry. If it doesn't heal properly, is it a big deal to reopen the area and restitch later? It seems like it would be to me. I have been putting medicated triple ointment on it, but it sure worries me. What do you think?
