Reading everyone's posts does not make me hopeful. I've been going through severe stomach pains for years now. I am a female and over weight, I didn't know if there's a trend here or not. It started about 4 years ago I was 25. It started with me feeling "icky". I felt worn down and tired very tired. No gas, constipation none of that. Then the pain started, usually in the right side of my stomach. Almost in my ribs so higher up. Gradually it has increased to my entire stomach. The pain is so severe I've been admitted to the hospital twice now. I usually have dhiarria, vomit, associated with the pain. I as well have been tested beyond belief. I've had blood drawn, ct, urine, gi endo, colonoscopy, went on a gluten free diet (for celiac), went through the most painful test I've ever been through testing the function of my gall bladder (I'm sorry I don't remember the name), x-rays of my chest, mri, I've changed my diet, exercised, lost weight, gained weight etc. No answer, just a bunch of guesses. The pain does hurt the most at night lately. When it hits it can last for hours to days to weeks. I usually can't eat when it hits and I've noticed it kinda feels like my throat is closing. I've kept tract of everything I've eaten for a year and there is literally no connection through food. I've had gyno tests etc etc etc. My doctor seems to believe without a doubt it's my gall bladder malfunctioning however we can not find a surgeon to take it out due to lack of gall stones. I've been researching for years now. I've tried everything I could think of and nothing I've found has worked. However maybe something I've found will help someone else. A person blogged about having a "kink" in their gall bladder tube they found that information out through exploratory surgery. Another individual after 5 years of searching for an answer went to an ortho doctor for back pain and found out that she actually had a dislocated rib. Believe it or not her rib dislocated on its own often, this would rub against her organs causing similar symptoms to what I've indicated. There are also people out there that have confirmed crohns, celiac, stomach cancer, and ulcers. My doctor found blood in my stomach during the gi endo with no proof of an ulcer, and my stools during these "episodes" are tar like = blood as well. This leads me to believe maybe I have a slow leak in an organ.... The blood indicates internal bleeding per doctors why couldn't it be something like that? Who knows the search continues, I hope someone finds an answer. Good luck all with your search. If I find any additional information I'll pass it along as I hope you all do too. Again good luck.
