for a week i have had an increasingly itchy vagina and clitoris, and some small white areas have appeared around my clitoris and inner lip area. there is no discharge, i am in fact really dry in the area.

I have the same problem. I kept seeing doctors about it and they kept treating me for a yeast infection. They would take swabs, diagnose me, then give me pills, but it never helped. What I found that works the best is ditching underwear. Go commando. Sounds weird, but after about a week its actually more comfortable then wearing underwear and you'll never go back. Since I stopped wearing underwear, my vagina has been SO much better.
