unexplained pain during sex

For the last two weeks I've experienced painful itching in my genitals. It hurts a great deal during sex and afterwards its even worse. I went to the gyno to see what was wrong, they confirmed that its not a yeast or urinary tract infection and I tested negative for gonorrhea and chlamydia and everything looked "perfectly normal." The only thing she could tell me was that I had a slight fever. It even hurt to have the speculum in and that has never been a problem before. Still, I want to be able to be intimate with my boyfriend without crying in pain afterwards. Please help!
