Omg, i get this quite alot now but i am young (15 years old). I dont get scared or anything i am quite used to it. Ive been looking for this for a couple of days, my mum has anyway. But she only searched for it because i came home thinking it was a migrane. Thats what the nurse said... It all started from a night mare i had when i was about 7 (me and my mum spinning, holding hands, with ring a ring a rosy in my head, with complete darkness behind). When i get with fast thing, that tune is staying in my head. First i tried to tell my mum about it, she didnt think anything of it because i couldnt explain it properly but then she clicked on this site and realized what i was saying. We thought it was vertigo at first but now she is saying it might be a seizere or a panic attack. I dont know!

I suffered from Migraine as long as i could remember …my mother tells me it was as yearly as i could tell her i had one.

Three years ago I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation type I by pure accident through MRI ( and later also diagnosed with stenosis & bulging disks)

Please have your doctor schedule all test possible in order for you to know the cause.

I hope you find a the right treatment. Good Luck

I get this! It happens most when I'm at a computer, but just happened to me while I was in an exam today. I get the feeling that everything is going faster, kind of panicky, and like my brain is thinking really fast, and thinking of like a million things in a second. Instead of feeling that things seam smaller, I feel like the room is getting closer or darker or something.

I'm 15, and i've been getting the feeling more then usual. It's actually scaring me more then it did when I was younger. I had it more when I'd usually wake up in the middle of the night then it completely went away for awhile now i'm getting it during the day.

Hi all, I've taken my daughter to doctor after doctor and l think we have finally found an answer. The last doctor we saw in melbourne said that she had a similar case over in the UK a couple of years ago. She said it is an auto immune disorder or disease. I took her 8 months to diagnose the girl from the UK. We had blood work done here in our home town and the doctors said it was all normal but the new doctor found an abnormal result. Something to do with influmation. We are now into full testing. Lets hope this is the answer we need

Hi
My son has just recently had these "fast feeling" sensations whilst he had the flu. Could you email me the contact details of your doctor. I'm in Sydney, but would be willing to see your doctor (you mentioned was in Mlebourne). Also could let us know how your daughter is going with her tests.

All the best.

I am 22 as well and only get this about twice a year now if that. When I was younger, like 14 or 15, I would get it a lot. You're not alone, but I just have no idea what causes it or why it happens.

Dang!!!! Iv been getting this too started when I was younger maybe 10-11. Use to stay up all night n jus freak out, I was always way too scared to tell anyone cause I couldn't even properly explain it. Wel I'm 20 now n iv had it 2 times this year. It hadn't happened for a really long time maybe 2-3 years bt it seem like its back. I'm still buggin tht other people experience this. I'm not wierd!! We're like a bunch of super freaks. Xmen type ish. Anyway I think il see my doctor about this now cause I'm getting to grown for this sh*t.

I'm 18 and, well, yeah, same thing really, I had this a lot when I was a kid, and it came back sometime last year, but it was quite frequent - a lot of times over a month. I went to see my Doctor, she told me I was stressed - related to the depression I suffered for a couple years previously.

I've not really been stressed at all over the last couple of days, but I just had it now and also experienced the feeling just a couple of days ago.

I spent 4-5 hours listening to music in one go last night, through headphones, and the other time, I was on the Internet, messing around with HTML code, would that be related anyhow?

I'm not too sure whether my Doctor was right about 'stress'.

I suppose it's good that other people have experienced this too, I don't feel like some kind of weirdo, but at the same time, this could mean it's something bad? :/

Understand the effects of special relativity(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQnHTKZBTI4) they interestingly match these symptoms. For those who don't want to read about it consider this example. Postulate that I am in a spaceship and I orbit the black hole in the center of our galaxy and I watch earth with a very powerful telescope (i can watch people). If I could watch a construction company build a sky scraper, what took them 6 months to build would be only 3 months for me, and they would appear to move very fast (like a fast forwarded movie) per my observation.
