I get this! I just thought it was me. Its such an unusual feeling, like i cant concentrate on anything whilst its happening and thoughts are just racing through my brain so quickly i cant even focus on them, i also get palpitations while it happens. I used to get it alot when i was little, it still happens now, but like everyone else has said, not as often (im 22 now) I eat healthily so i cant put it down to health. I get it whilst im trying to sleep which seems to be very common with everyone else. Like my mind is going crazy not wanting me to sleep. I'd love to know what it actually is..

I get these fast feelings too. My Neurologist ordered an MRI and they found a 1cm lesion in my left frontal lobe. They are waiting and watching to see what the lesion is, but for now it's a low grade tumor and the fast feelings are seizures.  I'm taking Keppra to stop the fast feelings. I also get eyebrow twitches, thumb twitches and blackouts.

I'm 19 and I haven't gotten on of these things since I was 12 or 13 but I've always wondered what they were? In high school I used to to take medication for anxiety, and sometimes (though rarely) i get pretty crazy panic attacks, so I was trying to like...kinda put two and two together kinda? like maybe i've had an anxiety disorder longer than just like 3 years or so.

like in elementary school if i felt very nervous or too many people were talking to me, or i had to focus very intently the "fast feelings" would happen, and it be like, this sensation where myself and the whole room would move very quickly, they would last about 10 minutes or so and then it would go away. What's funny though, is after one of these episodes I asked a friend (this was in like 5th grade) how i was behaving, like i asked something like: "I was feeling kind of werid a second ago, but i don't now. was I acting weird?" and they described how I was actually moving very very slowly and talking in a quiet voice.

so i thought that was sort of interesting.

Happened last night...I to use to have it happen a lot as a child and I would use it to my advantage. I would clean my room or starting working on something to keep he feeling going longer. Well last night I experienced it again and I haven't felt it in a long time. I felt so engaged it what I was doing and everything was in warp speed. STRANGE!

Hello, I know this was posted up a while back but I came across this post as I try and research why the same thing happens to me. Now that I'm older it happens less often but still I am curious as to what it can be. I try to explain the situation and no one seems to understand haha.

Does anyone get this when driving? I get it everytime I am in the car and if I watch moving traffic going in one direction it looks like it's going fast. I do have migraines, but not when this happens.

I myself am now 22 and used to feel like this quite a lot when I was younger I would do things and knew I was doing them at a normal pace but I felt like I was doing things really fast and it was a sickening feeling because I couldn't control it and would have to stop and stay still for a while until it stopped at this age I haven't had these 'episodes' so often but when I do they are exactly the same I came online today to look it up because it just happened to me again while I was writing a report and I couldn't slow it down even when I stopped to look it up it still took a few minutes for my brain to come back to normal odds anyone know what actually causes this to happen? I have to admit I feel relieved that I'm not the only person who has suffered with this I never wanted to go to a doctor because it's not an easy thing to explain to someone who has never experienced it themselves and often I felt like a weirdo or that I would be looked at that way if I went to someone about it x

I wouldn't worry yourself too much as you get older it gets less often and shorter bursts and you get used to it... It's still a horrible feeling but you learn to with it, I don't know myself what causes it ... But would love to know and also if there was a way to deal with it because it isn't nice and a diagnosis would make it easier to explain to people

Is what everyone is describing just anxiety? I have had that but my fast symptom is just that, everything is moving fast..... Like cars and only when I am looking at them.
