My experience isn't exactly like this but I do get the sensation that things are moving around me when they are not. It happens when I am passing buildings or trees, like when in a car. I feel as if the car is still and I am the trees etc are all moving past me. I'm sure it is to do with how the light flickers through trees and buildings in my case.

I didn't know other people felt this either; other than my family. Both my sisters and I and my father had this 'fast feeling' when we were pre-teens.

My daughter of 11 gets this, sometimes when she is falling asleep, usually in bed when things are quiet, and sometimes associated with fever. her hear rate reaches around 130-160. We have discussed with our family doctor who had no real input. It does pass relatively quickly and I am grateful to have found this forum, since at first I thought she was making it up. I am surprised so may people seem to recognise the symptoms but no diagnosis is avaialble.

The fast feeling I get is really quite often and my theory is that maybe we are time travelling or aging fast

OMG I have been looking for another person who has this! I totally agree with all of you. When I have it, whatever I do, scratching my face, or writing on paper, it's all loud and intense and fast in my head. It's like someone is urgently telling me that's it's the end of the world or something!

This is crazy!!!! Didn't know this was this common! I'm 39 and it wouldn't happen to me often as a kid. My son who is 19, also had it often when he was younger. My daughter who is six, just told me about her experience just happening to her tonight!
