The exact thing happens to me! I have been researching about it and most likely you have Alice In The Wonderland Syndrome.

When I was a child I used to feel strange ....These came in the form of a 5-10 min episodes...Once in 1-2 months....What I used to feel was every single noise getting loud...Feeling of me getting smaller .....I would feel objects very heavy and was not able to lift even my blanket... Everything would move fast....Closing eyes won't help...I'm 22 now and fortunately these episodes stopped when I was 14 years old....At the time of attack If I tried to divert myself to something else the attack would go early( or maybe just my thing) so I would try to read something to divert myself....I used to call mom and ask her to give me something to read....An attack came when I was in school...Luckily I had a page written only my roll number on that and somehow I just kept on focusing numbers till the attack went....I tried to tell mom dad about this after 2-3 episodes...But none would believe me...Everybody woupd say I was making things up to seek attention....After that I stopped telling about these things...And told myself that u have to fight this alone...I wold always carry a page with me and on that was written a story ....A story of how God helps the one who tries to win....And I got past everything the attacks finally stopped....Whatever it was it went undiagnosed,untold....Hope nobody goes through this...and God may give the strength to the unfortunate....

I would have a recurring nightmare where everything would change size constantly and I had to do something but I didn't know what it was I needed to do. I would wake up in a terrible panic

I'm so relieved. I've just experienced one of these head crazy things, they've happened to me for years since I was about 11-12 I'd say and I'm 23 now, I went a long time with none but recently they've been every few days. The feeling is so intense and it's like everything has a new feel!! Can't believe other people know what I'm talking about!!!!

Oh my gosh! I have the same exact fast feeling and things start feeling skinny for me too. It's crazy!

I thought I was crazy when I would try to explain that I feel like I'm moving in fast moving speed. It happened all the time when I was younger and it has been very sparse in my adult years. I am so glad it's not me being crazy.

I also get these fast feelings and I may know why. I recently asked a friend of mine who has an interest in psychology and she explained to me what may be the cause. She used the example of a movie. She that just like when you are watching something on tv and there are commercials, and when we have the ability to fast forward through the commercials we do so we can save time. The same thing also happens in our brains where our brains speed up things at certain times to get rid of wasted time. // although I may not be 100% sure of this answer, I feel as though it is a perfect explanation as to why we get these feelings.

I used to have these when i was young and now i am 17 and pregnant. And it happens quite often, I'm too scared to tell my family or anyone about it, because when i explain it, it just doesn't make sense. Wish there was a way to stop it, it kinda scares me at times, its like little people rushing around in my head.

My little girl is getting the same feeling but it's happening more often. Have you had a response from anyone?

Wow! So interesting that you have experienced this as well. I used to get this a few times a year as a child and then seemed to occur less and less, until it stopped when I was around 12. I've always wondered what it was. It was the oddest sensation to feel as though I was talking/doing things incredibly fast - but when I asked my parents they said I was talking at a normal speed. I used to put my head under my pillow and sit very still to stop the episode.

Hi,
I am currently 18 years old and I have been having the same things happen to me for about 4 years. I have recently discovered Vertigo. It is triggered by certain head positions. It includes all of my symptoms from dizziness, a spinning sensation, lightheadedness, unsteadiness, and loss of balance. It also includes rapid involuntary eye movement.
I hope this works for you.
