This is amazing. I get this too, i had it as a nightmare when i was around 12 and then had one other day for the first time since then, scared me soo bad and then just almost had one now. ( quickly listen to some music with earphones when you feel it coming works a charm) i thought it was too much caffeine

What I get is I wake wake and I move but everything around kinda blurry/not and I get stressed out and cry sometimes and it'll fall down around me and I'd feel sad and say I would have to rebuild it and then I remember it not perfectly but perfectly

My 10 year old son heard me read out your description and he says you described him perfectly. Seems to be less and less know but up to a couple years ago I always thought it was some kind of nightmare and he was genuinely terrified yelling at us to stop moving or talking. I found that giving him a banana or going pee would help make it go away. Mostly a Banana :-) it would be nice to know what causes this.

I don't know what it is. But I know we are all speaking of the same thing as I feel this myself. My cure that works 100% of the time is conversation with another person. Usually someone close to me like a family member. I talk about anything and it subsides. If I am alone it can linger but always goes away. I hope this helps.

I am 15 and always getting this, it scares me alot. It feels like the thoughts in my head are like shouting at me and makes me move extremely fast and everything i do is fast. Things like typing seem like im typing at incredible speed scen though I probably arent. I dont know how to make it stop

I have this feeling just a minute ago... This is an unusual feeling that I find myself in whenever my mind was in some kind of stress, but not always, seldom even, it's the 2nd time this year. What I find to stop it is by listening to a music I know very well and watching second hand of a clock stop it... kinda forcing my mind stay to stay in line with the tempo I guess?

Or when your in the complete dark and almost complete quiet (in bed) and some random thought and white noise gets louder and pulses faster. And then your unable to stop thinking about that random thought because your 'paralyzed' in your head or something. And you can only focus on the whole weird feeling of it all, and you just want it to stop. And all the while it feels like your brain and thoughts just got off the fastest marry-go-round in existence but won't stop spinning, and every conscious thought echoes in an infinite blank void.

I'm going through this thing right now
It used to be alot when I was a kid
And I guess it's been a while since I got it....I'm typing so fast(which I think I am)
I feel like I can hear alot of things...
I feel like the world is moving so fast but I'm the only one who can know.
It's just like adrenaline rush in my head

Oh my god...I'm just searching about this, bc it's happing right this second, and with me as well, it happened more when I was younger, in the middle of the night I would wake up and cry and be terrified, bc i didn't know what was happening in my head, and I never knew how to explain it. But that is exactly how I feel, also talking out loud, it seems like it's so fast, it's STILL scares me, any movement, or being rushed in the morning it happens, now I'm 19 and it doesn't happen only about 5 times a year maybe... but I never knew what was wrong with me till now, since I'm searching it up

I thought I was the only one too! I thought of it as like panic attacks but it's not, and when I would tell someone they would be like "discribe it" but I wouldn't know how or when I would discribe it as everything moving quickly no one still understood, so I always thought I was on my own omg

I used to get this feeling all the time as a kid and when i told my parents about they didn't really understand so i just stopped telling them. Back then i enjoyed getting them, i thought they were fun, but now i freak out. I developed some pretty severe anxiety 2 years ago and have gotten panic attacks every so often. However, it has dulled down a lot since i got it. Now when i get the speed up attacks or whatever you wanna call it I begin to panic because my heart rate goes way up to about 150BPM and I can feel it pounding in my chest.. shortness of breath and the obvious super fast feeling. I believe the panic is all due to my anxiety and fearing the episodes now. Anyway now these attacks suck and I am not looking forward to the next one. I really wish someone had an answer for us because i avoid medication as much as i can, and i prefer not to take meds especially if its not gonna work.

Yes, I have experienced this too. However, what seems to break this "fast feeling" for me is music or something nonrhythmic.
