I was having this experience last night and never thought to look it up before now - I didn't even really know how to describe it! But the frantic speed I feel inside myself translates to almost being able to sense the incredible speed of time itself... coupled with extreme body heaviness! I read up on aiws but it doesn't really describe what we're all feeling here - not so much visual hallucinations and more so acute internal speed intuitiveness.

I can't believe so many other people have this too! I've always wondered what it was, I always get it in the morning though. I do remembering happening when I was younger s lot more it is rare now and I'm 21. I usually had a trick to imagine me skipping with a skipping rope In my head and that goes really fast and it Try to slow it down In my head and that seems to work. Sounds silly but it works for me!

That's crazy! I'm a little younger than eighteen and I've been getting them since I was maybe twelve. I get this feeling that everything is moving at an incredibly fast speed. My arms, music, my thoughts, etc. I know that everything is normal but I feel like it is fast. I try to do things at a normal speed but it's actually slower than normal but it still feels extremely fast. I get this feeling almost every day for about two - three hours and it has been the same since it started. Does anyone know what causes this or what it is a symptom of or anything like that?

I'm now 51 and I had this when I was younger till my teens. I haven't experienced it since then so it seems to fix itself up. What I did then was count slowly in an exaggerated way. Knowing that it would eventually stop helped me deal with it. But it was a weird feeling. I'm so relieved to know that I'm not alone!

Hi, I'm 13, and you explained the voices in my head better then I could! I'm so thankful I read this. So, could you help me out a little bit on what to do? I used to get these voices when my fever went up really high. This would happen to me when I was about 3 or 4. Thank you so much!!!

Yes I have had the same thing happened to me since being young, except I would get more of like tunnel vision when I was a kid.. now it's just like u said, u know what's going on just in my head it seems everything is going faster and things are louder. . It just happened to me outside messing around with the water hose, cleaning up...very strange, happens maybe 5 times a year.. Alice in wonderland syndrome is funny
