I appreciate finding your postings about the same tingling, burning sensation on my left side, left brain hemisphere. I am disappointed that no one has posted any further or conclusive diagnosis. I apologize that I do not have any diagnosis as well. I hope to read about patients finding solutions or the cause.

I have been having left hand side burning and numbness for 6 months now - i have had 2 MRI and 2 CT's both clean - a full blood work all clear ...... I am at my wits end !! My Nuroligest seems to think its migraine related but it does not go away - i have heard of both hymapaligic migraine and also migraine with aura - but 6 months is a long time to have aura - we need a neurologist on this site ...

I've recently taken a heavy dose of valerian root And a warm tingling sensation has begun in the left side of my head. I doubt it's anything close to this topic but my vision is somewhat altered and I quite enjoy the experience

I have had lots of experience with MDMA and less with methylone. I have never tried mephedrone. I have had a pressure on the left side of my head for about 3 years now. It varies in degree and the location of the pressure is always changing. I also experience pressure around the left side of the face. I have a mild tmj disorder, which is a malfunction of the joint that moves your jaw on my left side. I also have bad posture (which can cause tmj). I am pretty sure my symptoms are a muscular issue which involves tightness in the muscles of my neck, jaw, and, and face ( which are all connected). I can feel changing/differences in the sensation when I clench or move my jaw around and neck/stretch etc. It took me years to come to this conclusion, but I think I am correct. Anxiety I also know plays a huge part in my condition. I have noticed if I think excessively or dwell on the sensation it becomes more pronounced. Also the opposite happens if I focus my mind on something else or somehow forget/not worry about the feeling. Anxiety can also cause muscle tightness and high blood pressure. Use of the substances was always in the back of my mind as a possible cause of my symptoms. I just today did a search on google for "pressure on the left side of head" instead of headache on..... and found alot of people with my similar condition. Because it is definately not a headache but an all consuming sensation that is to say the least very annoying or irritable but not painful. anyways in this search I noticed a few people that mentioned use of ecstasy. I do not know if these symptoms have any relation to the use of these substances and I hope they don't. The only thing that would make sense is if my ecstacy use caused me an underlying anxiety that had physical effects such as in the muscular nature. My advice is to try to not worry and get checked for tmj, it is very common. I am very curious to hear the details of your symptoms background etc. My symptoms are worst after a night of drinking, altough get better while drinking (concusion, drunk-mind and muscles relaxed, hungover-anxiety, dehydrated muscles). Please let me know if you have experienced anything similar as me

sounds like it could be trigeminal neuralgia. A neurologist specializing in this could assess.
