Hey guys,
I am 20 years old and have been experiencing this sensation for a little less then a week. Every time I take a leak, I feel fine until I go sit down. The moment I sit in a chair, or anywhere for that matter, I start to get a sensation that can only be described as leaking urine. The worst part of this whole experience is that I'm not. I have checked multiple times and felt no dampness what so ever. I don't get it at all. I have been hoping all over the web and in every message board of possible relevance i could find. I guess in most cases when other people feel this sensation, they are actually leaking urine. However, in my case, and most of yours from what i could tell, it is not actually leaking but instead is just the sensation. I am not altogether sure if this is merely a coincidence or if it truly has something to do with it, but shortly before this whole thing started happening I had started to take adderall in doses varying from 30mg to 60mg on a daily basis. So last night I consulted my friend who has been prescribed adderall for a while and has recently had his dosage increased to 60mg a day, and asked him if he thought that this feeling I was getting could be do to the adderall. Although he did not directly answer my question yes or no, he did say that it was just making me paranoid and not to worry because this has happened to him. So the point of my post is to figure out if there is a connection between adderall and this, lets call it, "phantom" post-void dribbling. So if you guys wouldn't mind complying, which i doubt you will because we all just want this to go away, could you answer this question. If you are experiencing either post-void dribbling or "phantom" post-void dribbling, are you currently taking adderall or any other amphetamines?
Thanks for your help guys.

Don't do any other operation before to explore all the possibilities to avoid them. The operation was probably a mistake but the docs told you something else.Try saw palmetto andother things like this before.
Be carrefull with doctors and try to study your body yourself. You will know better what to do.

I'm a doc.
First, have your doctor rule out infection of the bladder, urethra, or prostate.
Second, see a urologist.
If nothing physical is found you may have pelvic pain syndrome which essentially results from a hypertonic pelvis. The muscles get spastic and literally shorten, pulling your coccyx to your pubic bone. This can result in variable degrees of pain, especially when sitting. The structures between may get pulled. This can result in constipation, urinary frequency and urgency, urinary dribbling, because the internal and external sphincters get out of sync and urine gets trapped in between. The hallmark of the condition is ejaculatory dysfunction, particularly ejaculatory pain. Ejaculation and bowel movements can set off urinary frequency. I know this sounds counterintuitive, but what you don't want to do is pelvic strengthening exercises unless it is confimed that you have weak sphincters. This is unlikely. Do not do Kegels, cut down on the masturbation, and make sure you are not constipated. Take hot baths. You must relax your pelvic floor.
This condition is more common than currently thought and was originally called abacterial prostatitis, though most patients did not have any problems arising out of their prostate . The prostate was secondarily affected. It would not be unusual to have small amounts of blood in your urine as the muscles and fascia pull on the prostate and urethra and cause inflammation.
The treatment is internal physical therapy, external physical therapy relaxation therapy, and pain and muscle spasm pharmacologic management. The first step is finding a urologist who is aware of this condition and finding a physical therapist, usually a pelvic floor therapist to treat you.
You might want to consider reading the book A Headache in the pelvis by Anderson and Wise. We are seeing more of this because of weight lifting, people doing Kegels for premature ejaculation, overmasturbation, people doing those bizarre penile enlargement
exercises. Most commonly, this is a pelvic tension disorder, some people contract their necks or backs with anxiety, others their pelvic and sphincters, as well as prolonged sitting. After a while you don't know you're doing it and then something puts you over the edge and you are symptomatic. Symptoms may not be confined to the pelvis and may include abdominal wall pain, back pain and thigh pain as they are intimately related to the pelvis.
Good Luck.

Well urine is acidic, and your urethra doesn't like that, so if you urinate right after ejaculating some of the urine can get into your urethra and it causes some discomfort. For me it feels like I have to pee really bad even though my bladder is empty. That could be the problem.

hey Ive been taking addies for 10 years now,and they can do some weird things trust me..Ive had the same problem of what you are saying, and also keep alot of water in you and stay away from the caffeine. My recommondations with you being 16 u should try and find another drug like vyvance or something in that nature.. Adderall is a very Harsh drug on the body if you use for along period of time, and 60 mg daily is alot over time..Its an amphetamine,it will make u paranoid, cause insomnia in some people, and speeds the sh*t out of the metabolism..Once again lots of water and Protein, the protein will keep the saratone rebuilding in your brain..I wouldnt sweat it that much, but i would bet that is the problem.Try and quit for 3 to 5 days and your problem will go away the first day most likely..Best of luck!

I m 32 years old and I have the same problem; after I urinate, theres always, always these few drops (sometimes even a full stream) of urine , for the next few seconds, or even minutes after i think i m done peeing...I have to admit I've had this problem for about 2 years now, about the same time i started using speed...although I was told by health professionnals (urologists and doctors..) that these things happen on their own, with no explanations. (I Did not mention my drug use...of course...i should have...)
Very, very frustrating situation..I would even say life sucks now. Going to the bathroom to take a piss takes as more time as taking a sh*t...always a feeling of uncleaness..feels like i m 75 years old. I know, there s worst things , but still...
But my question tonite si: is this post void dribbling Speed (amphetamine) related?

Hey man. I take adderal and I also get some leaking while the drug is in me. May feel weird reading this, but I'm also uncut, so after the day and I take a shower I can see what has come out. I'd describe it as precum. A lot of people on adderal or any stimulants get this. An off brand use of adderal is to hight sperm mobility rate, so maybe that's what's going on.
