I rarely post on forums like this but this thread has help me so much because it’s impossible to find information about this. I had thin, dry discharge with an extremely sour, tart, lemony taste. I went off wine, soda and red meat and I started taking sodium bicarbonate tablets by mouth to lower the acidity in my body. I also started douching 2 to 3 times a day with the baking soda mixture I did this for about a week with some improvement but not enough. Then I followed one of the posts advice and I made a thick paste with baking soda probably at least a quarter of a cup of baking soda & just enough water so it sticks together. I used a syringe and left it in overnight, I also used a tampon to make sure that nothing would escape. It didn’t burn as much as some people commented that it did but that may just be different for everyone. It is slightly uncomfortable but I could fall asleep right away. Best news of all… the next day after about 12 hours when I was sure everything had leaked out, everything is back to normal. 100% normal!!. tasteless discharge!! It’s only been a few days so I will update but at the very least this is a “in a pinch” kind a solution if I want to have sex with my partner. Hope this helps! So crazy because my doctor said I shouldn’t do anything either.

get a douche, fill it with half plain Greek yogurt and half water. It should help maybe do it twice a week, I’m 15 but I don’t have these problems I’ve just done research and eat pineapples or citrus drink lots of water :)

I suffered from white, sour discharge for a few years all test can’t back negative.
I got rid of my symptoms by taking rephresh probiotic, using the Vagisil ph balance feminine was daily, drink 1/2-1 gallon of water a day, being on a strict diet with no processed foods no sugar, bread, etc. only juice I drink is 8oz of 100% cranberry juice. And working out 5 times a week.
The diet is hard but it was the only thing that cured my symptoms after trying almost everything

Yes omg so I started tasting sour too and I just stopped accutane. I thought it was my IUD but I got that in September and I just started tasting super sour a couple months ago. Do you think it’s the accutane?

The sour taste thing happened to me after taking antibiotics for a tooth infection! I'm 45 and it was not normal. In all my years I've never had a sour taste like this. The only thing that worked for me was Lactigel (or Aci-jel) as it restores the normal PH balance in the vagina. To others posting or reading - please don't put random stuff in your vagina without doctor/gyno approval. Especially not coconut oil, it can give you a severe vaginal infection.

Look up Ureaplasma. Its a simple test. Causes discharges, infertility, messes with ph, and causes all the secondary garbage like yeast and bv and DOES NOT show up on a slide. Has to go to a lab. Ladies...Ureaplasma.
