Hi ladies! I’ve read these posts for the last two years as I have suffered from this as well. After many visits to the doctor and trying many home remedies, nothing helped. With this all said, I actually have not felt myself since I noticed the sour taste. Last summer I was told I had an ulcer, then this year I was having chest pains and found out I had gallstones. From there I ended up having a scope of my esophagus and the lining of my stomach because I was having other symptoms. Come to find out after the scope, I had H-pylori infection in my stomach. This in which caused me to now have GERD and esophagitis. This bacteria I believe has been the culprit of my issue. This bacteria causes excess acid in the stomach and messes up your digestive issue, which then can mess with vaginal issues. I was put on a three remedy treatment which consisted of Flagyl, Clarithromycin and prescription of Omperazole for 14 days. I had a rough go of taking these strong antibiotics as I had a few side effects but I’m finally done. It’s been almost 5 days and no sour taste. I will get tested 14 days after I finished treatment to make sure the bacteria is gone, but so far so good I think! Many people have H-pylori but never have any symptoms so doctors don’t ever test for it. This bacteria infection is contagious and can be contacted through saliva and oral sex, as well as contaminated food and water. I am so happy I am getting things back to normal! I hope this helps. I’m so glad I have finally found out what was going on.

Hey! Everyone I have been having similar issues. I tried an evvy test and have been able to pin point my vaginal microbiome which has been a huge. I had zero protective bacteria which causes a lot of issues. I was able to get a treatment plan and knowledge on how to proceed. I had a lot of bacteria associated w BV and biofilm formation. Try it out! You need to figure out the root to your issue. Juno is another test similar that breaks down your vaginal.
