I replied above before, the one with the fever etc... Had this "bug" for 10 weeks at that point.

It now seems to have moved to my abdomen? My throat issues are okay, my neck nodes have gone down etc. But I'm now getting stomach problems. Mild/medium pain in my lower abdomen and a few of the earlier symptoms are lingering too. No more night sweats though, and the chills seem to have gone too.

Anyone still fighting this thing? Following the thread for any updates!

I’m so pleased to find this group and thread...
5 weeks ago I started having a daily headache (very unlike me) and despite all the water I drank, it would not cease. It’s not been a severe headache but has been noticeable. The worst bit about it is the nausea. Just feeling like I can’t move quickly without feeling dizzy is horrible. 3 days ago (exactly at week 5) is when I believe this virus moved to the rest of my body. I began be having diarrhea which wasn’t (or hasn’t been) severe, but noticeable. 1 loose watery movement a day(sorry!).

Like many of you, I haven’t had a fever. Which in my mind is the body recognising there’s a foreign invader and commencing an attack. Not even night sweats or a rash. Whatever this is has just lingered.

From the moment I had diarrhea I completely lost my appetite and couldn’t even bare to sip a beer let alone stand in a bar or crowded restaurant. The day after I began with cramp which has been one of the most worrying aspects. I have felt it from my toes right the way to my fingers. And it’s not just muscular, it’s skeletal and in my joints too. It’s also not just spasms, but also pain.

Yesterday, 5wk day2, I woke up with severe tingling in my hands and have also noticed that my arms go numb very easily. I have also felt my lymph nodes swell slightly (but this could be stress related or due to me looking for them)

The frustrating this about all of the above is the fact it’s dragging so long. I’ve had blood tests and have all come back inconclusive. It feels like my body is just letting this menace do what it wants and not really putting up a fight. I’d really appreciate it if anyone could relate to the symptoms I’ve described.

Perfect description to this never-ending illness. Medicine has absolutely no answer for this illness so they tell you things are fine which everyone knows is rubbish. This thing is something totally different which waxes and wanes perhaps forever which is frightening. I sure hope science or medicine finds and answer for this soon as it is quite disabling!

Hello, it is July 28 and reporting back. I’m gave it again as well as my husband. I took Cipro (which I hate because it is Black labeled for causing ruptured tendons in athletes) however it cleared up my dental infection. Fast forward three months. Extreme fatigue, heart palpitations, swollen lymph nodes. Achy, sore muscles and it moves around! Trouble sleeping. Worried on top of a very stressful time at work right now. Thinking adrenal fatigue but that doesn’t explain the aches and general flu like feeling. Taking the monolauren again to see if it helps kick the virus if that is
what this is! Maybe you can find it on Amazon UK. Hope you are feeling better.

Hi, I came across this thread after my family friends and eventually I came down with this mystery flu-like illness that has plagued us for over a month now. For me it started with vague stomach upset and diarreah with horrible acid stomach then a dry scrachy throat and hoarseness followed by feeling like I couldnt swallow normally and my whole chest/throat/rib cage was inflamed. Shortly after I had a fever for three days with an on and off extreme headache aches burning eyes congestion and crushing fatigue. Its been 7 weeks and I still feel sick. Has anyone figured it out? I am a health coach and knowledgeable about anti virals and building immunity but nothing Ive tried has made a lasting difference. This is awful.

I have had these symptoms as well for months . I have been diagnosed with a Virus, plus I have to many Lyphocytes ( white blood cells) & abnormal blood cells. The third diagnosis I received from my Doctor is EINSTEIN BARR VIRUS. I am on an anti viral tablet now to boost my immune system. My Doctors are also testing my blood every two months plus testing my Thyroid Gland. My Glands are still very sore after about 12 weeks & I am still very much not myself. TIME WILL HELP. from Jackie

I started with a sore throat, congestion, and sinus headache. So, I thought that it was a sinus infection. I went through 2 prescriptions of antibiotics and1 steroid. Didn't feel much better. Then, the diarrhea started. My allergist thought it was c. deficile. So, back to the antibiotics for that. The diarrhea is slowly subsiding but the sinus headache is back. Don't know what to do. Can anyone relate?

Yes, that is how this whole nightmare begins. Throat congestion, many get chest congestion, sinus headache with many also getting stiff neck and occipital headache pain. Diarrhea is common as are muscle aches, bone aches, and often times cramping. The illness waxes and wanes forever. No one can seem to find an answer. It's as if our immune systems fail to recognize this invader as if causes havoc in many parts of our bodies, hence most people don't develop a fever and if they do it's a very low grade fever. A clear cut indication that our bodies are failing to mount a strong response to this pathogen. Yes, I can relate quite well as I've been fighting this thing of and on for several years. Medicine seems to be worthless up to this point. Let's hope things change!

Hi guys, I've been experiencing the following symptoms after a trip to Prague around mid-October... (Originally, I'm from Israel)

* It all started with a feeling of heaviness and slight numbness in my upper left arm and pain that originated from the left side of my chest.
* Two weeks later, and my left leg is suddenly heavy and slightly numb as well. It was hard for me to walk.

* Another two weeks later, and I've started to have a dry cough that lasted two to three weeks. Around this period, I've started to experience the next round of the following symptoms:
* Dizziness
* Severe headaches
* Nausea
* Sever chest pain
* Difficulty breathing (still do)
* A burning feeling on my tongue
* My first canker sore
* Neck pain on the left side
* Swollen lymph nodes behind my ear and in station 5
* On and off coughing periods with a yellow-brown phlegm
* Sever fatigue (I had this for 3 days in total, couldn't even talk or get out of bed)
* Conjunctivitis that lasted a few hours
* Indigestion - I saw food pieces in my stool; Mucus; Blood (a one-time thing, after being constipated for 2 days)

Thank you so much for this thread! I was hoping to follow up with you and see how you are doing? Was your doctor correct with his 6-month recovery prognosis?

Hi I’ve had something very similar, well it’s still ongoing. It’s a virus, I’m sure of it. I have the same symptoms. I’m juicing veg, especially celery for the gut, plenty of vit C and zinc and it’s helping. Immune systems are running low this time of year and viruses love it. The sun is what will boost the metabolism but sadly that’s not possible for me. Try a full spectrum light box, it really helps. It will go, nothing lasts.
