Virus won't go away after a month

Hi was this ever resolved?

I've had exactly the same for the last couple of months on and off. I've been treated got the parasite giardia with no relief from symtpoms.

I was due an endoscopy for possible gerd but that has been cancelled.

I'm in SoCal with same virus, my husband did antibiotics and is still sick after one month. I'm in week 2 I'm using Theraflu night time, cough drops, no dairy and lots of water. And we'll balance diet. Good oral hygiene and wash everything bedding and wipe down counters door knobs etc.. They say hand to mouth is likely how you are exposed. Theraflu Tea is amazing!!! You sleep great and feel so much better the next day. 2 weeks and I just have the grouse sounding cough, and mild tummy discomfort. But feeling better than the rest of peeps in my family.

We all have to remember the weather here on West coast has also been unusual. Barometric pressure randomly changing along with massive rain, heat etc... lots of plants are blooming, creatures, bugs, allergen explosion!!! Claritin or Costco Clarinex is amazing for dizziness and allergy throats irritation, without the jitters and weird side effects. Just another socal tip. Cheers to a speedy recovery

I'm in British Columbia and have had the same thing for over a month. In addition to the abdominal symptoms I'm experiencing stuffy head, sneezing, watery eyes, sore throats etc. . The symptoms have come and gone at least 8 times! It is not IBS. Doctor says it's viral and there are several others with the same thing.

I have been following this for past couple months. I have health problems but on top of that a long term virus for 6 months. I have had stomach problems and respiratory too. Lungs ears and sinus. Nausea stomach pain comes and goes. Body aches too.

Hello all, I am in central Texas, 3 weeks in on this virus. My mom got it before me and it seems like everyone I know has it now. My mom is still not better after 6 weeks. I live in a small town and it seems like everyone I talk to is battling this plague. It started with a very sudden sore throat, swollen glands, sneezing, congestion and now coughing. My spine is aching all the time and my body hurts. I am lethargic with hardly any energy. Just when I think I might be better, wham it hits me again. I am hungry but when I try to eat it is not appetizing and I gag. I force down food anyways though. To lessen the symptoms, I have been taking epsom salt and sea salt baths, juicing organic, smoothies, detox tea, honey, home made organic bone broth and soups and sauerkraut and kefir for probiotics...I start to get paranion and think maybe it's something "they" are spraying on us or some test virus that escaped the lab. I'm lucky that I don't have a job right now otherwise I would be fired. I am trying to stay positive and pray that we all get over this soon. Its nice to know that I am not alone in this. Is there anyone out there that has recovered fully from this terrible plague?

Hi. I have had the same flu for three weeks now. Symptoms start going away but then come back. I have friends here that are going threw the same thing. It is frustrating. And depressing. Not much to do about it tho. Just eat simple easy to digest stuff and drink lots of fluids. Rest when you can.

Yeah it's a virus first you start vomiting then getting sick like a normal flu but dry flu I could say ...then diarrhea but still feeling like tired or dizzy almost feel like if I were drunk without appetite ....I had seen this type of problem but on dogs they eventually die after ..you'll loose weight cuz of this virus eating from inside feels like when I drink milk ..there's no cure for this flu I tried everything, nothing help, just to stay home and close to the toilet

Yes I have it too....After two weeks took anti biotics which cleared chest infection and a week later...we are now in week five......swollen glands sinusitis and generally unwell....horrid,...

I've been talking to a lot of doctors about this and they are well aware of it. They have no real idea of how to treat it except for specific symptoms. It has been around for years and years and the CDC chose to simply ignore it thinking it would die out. But it NEVER dies out. It just keeps coming and going, coming and going. At least 2 doctors have told me this is the infamous chronic fatigue syndrome and all one can do is treat the symptoms. Several docs around the world are researching this and hopefully will find some help soon as this thing keeps spreading everywhere. Whatever you do, do not over exercise because it makes you worse and you may not recover to you previous health. Docs suggest rest over exercise. I hope and pray research soon figures this horrible mystery out!

I empathise .....I have not had the stomach part of it but two years running now I have had a nasty flu that feels mainly over after three weeks but then my neck glands go up and the sore throat comes back....last year I caught it in February and didn't get free of it until the ending of May.....this year I am six weeks into it....very tired much of the time as well....nothing to do but ride it out....getting cold or really exhausted seems to exacerbate it ...Have had two courses of antibiotics for chest and sinus infection that canme with it ....loads of supplements and my conspiracy theory friend reckons it's a military weapon spread by chemtrails as it doesn't have the characteristics of a normal virus...interestingly he is not a nutter and medically trained as a cranial osteopath ....whatever ....it is horrid and every time you think it's gone here we go again glands up ...

It sounds lime lime desease for everybody. The test are not aqurate. Go to a limes specialist everyone. Also take high doses of vitaminC but ask your docotr first if it isok for you. Lypospheric vit C igoes right to your blood streem so you absorb. Google men in NZ with swine flu come back to life withVit C

I live in Menifee, CA and have the same thing you describe. I was better around Mothers Day, then the next day I felt awful again. I still feel awful, maybe worse. I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever be well again. I'm just feeling really sorry for myself right now.
