Go see a Gastroenterologist. You may have a narrowing at the end of your esophagus that won't let the food go into the stomach causing you to vomit. The most serious cause could be cancer of the esophagus, but you won't know until you see a specialist. If you've had reflux deisease (heartburn) in the past it could lead to seriuos problems like what you're experiencing. Another thing, if that "vomit" happens during the night when you are not aware it could go into the lungs and cause pneumonia. GO SEE THE DOCTOR!
