My RA doctor prescribed Methatrexate. What specifically does it DO? One person said it helps to keep inflamation from returning. Is this correct? Anything else?
i have just started taking methatextrate ,after being diagnosed with ra .I was very worried about taking the medacation at first ,as ive heard so much about it ,and also ,how the specialists have portrade it to me ,i now know it to be a very powerful drug ,but if it,s that powerful ,wat else is it doing to my body besides the liver complaint,is what i am looking for answers for.And also why the need for so many differant doctors and nurses watching over me whilst im taking the drug ,is it that dangerous. Please help me to understand . I am so worried about it all.
