Hi, there. It all depends which effect you want to achieve. I think that for losing weight treadmill is the best. I use it always in the gym. Bicycle is also very effective. Some people recommend bowflex, but I hear it is very expensive. You can also have effects with jumping rope. If you like to punch, then take some gloves and a boxing bag.
