Have you seen a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist? I'm having this issue now but only for the last 3 days...so bad I cannot walk much less attampt to drive. I went to see my dr on Thusday, was incredibly dizzy. Ended up having a stroke in her office. Am in the hospital now for the stroke....but am still dizzy. I will ask to see a ENT while in here. Do get this looked into...be aggressive and good luck. Could very a sign of something much worst.

Arashb I have done all the same things to weed out problems. I think it is hypoglycemia for me along with anxiety induced vertigo. It is called juvenile vertigo I think. Also it could be stress induced. I have thought for a while that my right ear seems to be the cause but the ENT says nothing is wrong. The other aspect could be whats called a silent migraine. You get aura and vision issues and unbalanced feeling without the pain of a migraine. I bought Butterbur with feverfew in it and I think it helps but i have not used it for more than two days in a row and you are supposed to take it consistently for a couple months for full effect. Butterbur is for migraines and is effective for allergies. I am still at a loss though for what is the true cause. I honestly think it is stress induced to a certain extent. 34yr old male with symptoms lasting 3 years now.

Been very, very lightheaded for about four months. Have to hold on to walk, also, my legs feel like jello too. Am under docs care, he thinks it may be thyroid. Also have sinus troubles. I hate this. Very low in B12 and vitamin D. All my tests were normal.

I'm a 25-year-old female. I have been experiecing almost daily lightheadedness for several months now. I have anxiety (managed by CBT therapy) and it's possible they could be related, but I'm really not sure. It seems to be worse when I'm in a hot/uncirculated room, hungry, tired, and after eating a big meal. I've never actually fainted but there are times when I have to lean against something or lie down until it passes. Getting fresh air helps too.
I want to get rid of it and I'm not sure how. Haven't called the doctor yet but I'm not sure if there's anything she can do for me. I take iron and vitamin D. I drink water, eat fairly healthy, and usually get plenty of rest and moderate exercise. I'm just glad to know I'm not the only one who's exeriencing this. For a long time I thought it was just 'in my head.'
If anyone as any advice it would be appreciated.

I have been going through tthe same thing for over 10 years and have been told ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, and its all in my head... After passing out and trying numerous antianxiety meds, I went to a doc in a very small town that diagnosed me with POTS. Look it up... Makes a lot of sense and explains why all the labs are always normal and why the meds never helped... Good luck y'all!

Hi there,
I have been lightheaded for 3 years now. On and off. More on than off. I had only lightheaded, tiredness and headaches as symptoms. By far, the worst was the CONSTANT lightheadedness and off feeling. A lot of suffering! Now, i may have realised that frequent urination could be linked to this. A UTI infection of some sort. I did notice my lightheadedness went away after i had taken anti bios for a different reason than UTI. I hope this post helps people out there who have experienced the same debilitating issues.

I am a 33 yr old female with a doctorate and have been constantly lightheaded for months. My symptoms last all day/every day and include feeling faint, tremors/skakiness, shortness of breath, and fluttering heartbeats (PVCs). I also have an elevated body temperature at times, around 99.5 degrees. I started not feeling "well" after a dental cleaning over a year ago and my symptoms have gotten progressively worse. Endocarditis has been ruled out. I have had brain MRIs, CT scans, and hundreds of vials of blood drawn. Blood work shows I have an elevated IGE level and borderline elevated ANA, which seems to be of little significance. I have seen neurologists, cardiologists, rhematologists, ENTs, infectious disease, hematologists and no one can seem to figure out what is going on. Some doctors suggested I have POTS syndrome since my blood pressure tends to run somewhat low (100/600); however, I have had low BP my entire life life and was never symptomatic so I am not convinced this is my problem. Even if I do have POTS there almost always is an underlying cause such as an infection or neurological disorder etc. This is so frustrating! I have no quality of life and have been unable to work.
