I've had something for almost 9 months, and yes, I feel drunk/hungover all the time w/o the fun part. Also having severe panic attacks and the Xanax I take for that lessons the lightheadedness. I also have tinnitus at night, can't drive much at all or work. All this has caused my depression symptoms to increase as well but it's comforting to know there are others who haven't found answers either.

Hi I've the same symptoms of lightheadness and weakness in the legs for 3 years already. Various scans and blood tests all came out fine.
I notice that if I take a little sugary drink the symptoms will go away.
Thought I could be hypoglycemic but my blood glucose levels seem ok

Dhantori, hang in there! I been dealing with this about 5 mos now. Been told about shrinking blood vessels too. Called vascular degeneration since I am 63. The constant lightheadedness is extremely annoying, but a light dose of Xanax twice day has helped! I agree with previous thread about lack of blood to brain triggers adrenaline and some panicky feelings. For me, the unexplained depression is manageable with help of Xanax. I know for me, this is a physiological problem since I've never needed this type of med before. Might be worth asking your Dr about. I know the frustration your going thru.

This is quite an old thread, but I am wondering if anyone has ever found any answers? I am a 29 year old Female and since August 2016 I have been experiencing light headedness. It usually lasts every day for a few months, stops, and then comes back. I occasionally get a dizzy spell with the light headedness as well. I've also had two minor anxiety attacks in this time. Driving makes things worse but drinking a lot of water seems to help. It is absolutely wiping me out. My doctor just keeps labeling it vertigo but the specialists I've seensaid that it is not vertigo. I am seeing a neruologist soon but I am not hopeful that I will find answers. Is it stress? Could it be related to my recent diagnosis of hypothyroidism? Is it diet? Anyone have any idea? It's really running my life.

I had these same issues. Had the same tests done. I have been able to beat these symptoms by making the following changes: I Introduced probiotics into my diet. I started taking coconut oil pills (4 per day). I excercise every day for at least 30 minutes. (If I don't excercise the symptoms return) I'm 27 male. I basically diagnosed myself with Candida issues and its the only thing that has worked. I'm not a Doctor and you should not use this information as medical advice. I just wanted to share with you what worked for me.

I feel the same way too for almost 2 months.I've been to ECG test and CBC Test but they found it normal. My Heart rythm is normal and platelates are adequate. I've been also to Eye Check Up and they found out that I have correction to my eye grades. My eyes got .25 grades which is .5 higher than the Normal Eye grades. The opthalmologist said that I should wear an eyeglasses for 6 months and my dizziness will be fine. I hope that this will be a success medication.

Isn't this strange, driving helps me too. What in the world could this be?
I had a light headed/dizzy/head pressure spell a few days after my baby was born. It was constant, all day long, but eventually went away after about 2 weeks. I was feeling normal for 6 months, then it came back about a week ago. I've been researching but can't find much. I'm going for blood tests next week to check for thyroid problems and lyme disease. If that comes back ok, my Dr said she will prescribe anxiety meds.

Exposure to cayenne pepper has coincided with fainting (vasovasal syncope) each of the 2 times I have fainted. So I don't take cayenne anymore. I seemed fine with cayenne for years until I worked in a shared kitchen area where cayenne peppers were ground to powder and thought I would die from breathing difficulty. I fainted the first time soon after. After 3 days of observation and tests all passed in a hospital after the first fainting, a doctor suggested cayenne may cause syncope in some people by blocking the vagus nerve. When I got home I tested the idea with a capsule of cayenne and 90 min. later became dizzy. 3 years later I tried cayenne again and fainted on the 3rd day of taking it.
