Hi:
I'm not sure I understand your message. If you are talking about your very first night of sex and bleeding, are you talking about the hymen. You can have a doctor break your hymen if you are concerned about bleeding. Otherwise, bleeding is not normal during sexual activity. If this is what you are experiencing, here are some questions to ask yourself that might put you on the right track when you talk to a doctor, which you should do if the problem continues. Could you have a vaginal infection? Could your vaginal wall have lacerations because of some other type of sexual activity. Is there any reason to believe that you could have contracted an std. I hope that you will have answers soon. Let us know.

dsdesk i think this is another case of someone from a culture where virginity is important and women are expected to bleed when they lose their virginity. to the original poster, what do you mean when you say you haven't had full sex?

Hi:
It's been a few days since your post. What have you learned. My last post was a direct answer to your question about bleeding during the "first night" as I understood your post. I did not indicate that you had to bleed. Your hymen can be broken in a lot of other ways and you may not even know it, i.e. extreme activity, accident, tampons, etc. The experience can be different for everyone. I did not bleed, so I don't think that it is a given. I hope that my post was helpful to you, if I understood it. Please let me know how you are doing.
