Hello, I'm 17 years old and I adore cycling. I've spent all my money on my bike and there are still many things I would like to buy for it. Anyway, my standard routes throughout my neighborhood are not enough for me, so I'm thinking about where to drive next. I wish to drive at least 30 km a day, and I'm afraid I cannot achieve that in town. What's your best cycling route?

Well, the first advice would be to find and use cycling track. I'm sure your city has at least one. If not, that could be a problem. It's not good to be in traffic areas, you always have to look out for cars and cannot concentrate on your ride. You could try and find some more isolated roads in your vicinity with less traffic. You could even ride with someone else. Two bikers are more easily spotted than one, and it's easier to pay attention on traffic when there are two of you. My favorite ride starts not far from my home, and it goes toward a small mountain nearby. From my home to the peak and back - 100 km, every day, and I feel great!
