Hello, I'm very confused at the moment and so please someone help! I have been recently trying to find out exactly where the Hymen is and have conflicting answers. I have been told that the Hymen is actually the opening to the vagina, the skin around it where the penis is first entered and I have also been told that it is further, deep in your vagina where you would have to use your fingers, or a penis to reach it and break it. Please tell me, where is the hymen?

It's located just inside around the opening. It's right across the very inside to cover it.
Ok so i have the same question. Ive never had sexual intercourse either but i was curious as to where it was and i found out that i can fit a small finger thru the hole. IS that possible without having it ruptured?? Would it be able to go thru the whole and the hymen would be found after ??
Go to google search hymen and then click the link to Wikipedia it has pictures. This is such a silly question that could have been answered easily with a little bit of research.
I have the same guestion. Is it inside deep in the vagina where that wall like thing is or like at the opening, coz like damb people make me confused. Google does to. It just gives me the scientific explaination and pix, yeah they do not look the same as mine. Serious help!!! I am just 12, extremly smart, but it haunts me to know that i dono this!

Everybody's genitals are slightly different. We nearly all know that penises have a range of sizes. Many know that the clitoris varies in its evident size. So with the hymen. It differs in its presentation from female to female. So it is not a dumb question to ask exactly where it is and what it is like.
