I'm exsperincing this problem now although mine is thrush causing it , the 'cottage cheese' discharge is usually a sign of infection , don't use perfumed soaps , in fact don't use soap at all for a while , I suffer with so many problems down there ... my doctors told me it was because ' I'm to clean ' as mad as that sounds when you wash you bits and bob your actually washing away all the good bacteria down there away.. also sex can cause it , if your not using protection . ( use a condom guys ) but if your not make sure you either have a quick rinse down there and if possible PEE after as your muscles relax down there while having sex , making you open to all sorts of bacteria xx

DO NOT put coconut oil in your vagina. It completely screws up the pH balance in your system. Your vagina has its own bacteria, and adding coconut oil may help temporarily, but it kills both good and bad bacteria, and makes you more susceptible to yeast and other infections in the future.

For me, the TP-like chunky discharge was a bacterial infection (NOT yeast). Went to the gynecologist and they said all was normal, but an unrelated course of antibacterial pills cleared it up - at least, for several months. Now probiotic pills keep all in balance, and occasional boric acid vaginal suppositories help with acute flareups, by balancing vaginal pH.

Bottom line - DO get yourself checked by a Dr, but realize they may not find everything....

So I have this same issue but I also get bv way to often ( just the make up of my body,I'm not a nasty woman lol) I went on a hunt for different treatments because being on antibiotics constantly is not good for your body. Anywho I have found that if I soak a tampon in coconut oil and then put it inside me and repeat this a few times throughout the course of a few days all is better. Also I line my panties with a pantie liner just because it makes me feel better if oil starts to leak out. I go to all regular check ups and my doctor says it's nothing to worry about it is more of a me worrying type thing. This is just the way my vagina cleans itself.

I had the same experience 2 days now and I just went to the doctor and he said there wasn't no infection at all so I hot no treatment. Said over time it will might go away but there is no time span for that. I really wish I could get more answers than that like how to get rid of this thing because it's really really embarrassing and I can see on my boyfriend's face he's uncomfortable with it too.

Ladys of you have whote discharge after sex and its on your bf's thang, its just your own cum so they should feel food. (: if your it's not yellow or green or smelly its not an infection. If your not itching or irritated some vaginas just produce more discharge then others.

Hello friend,
I have the same thing like you said is very similar to the cottage cheese. After all the research I have done and visited too many doctors; I think this is due to my hormone imbalance. The only thing that worked for me is the boric acid capsules. I introduced one capsule every night in my vagina for two weeks. Then continued with the treatment twice per week for six months. I also started taking probiotics and natural yogurt. I also reduced sugar, potatoes, rice, bread, and wine.

I have been having this white clumpy discharge since I was 12 and I’m 20 now. I have to wear tampons when I’m not on my period so that nothing falls out and makes me feel more embarrassed. It’s getting expensive... I am about to go through egg preservation and I’d really like this to go away.

Have you found out what it was?

It sounds like we have the same problem. I’ve had clumpy white discharge for about 5 months now. I’ve been tested twice. It’s not a yeast infection or any other infection. I’m going crazy. I don’t know what to do.
