Have your physician check for bacterial vaginosis. It is similar to a yeast infection but is not treated the same. Instead of using the fluconole or diflucan they will treat it with metronidazole! Good luck!

Ive been having those toilet paper clumpiness too. I think is may be a yeast problem but it also may be that the brand of toilet paper is actually shredding little bits and being absorbed into the vagina. I really dont have any other idea. Switching brands. I think all these specialty extra soft papers are not good. Switching to plain Scotts. Maybe going to use those feminine wipes and see if that clears it. I am a little itchy so I took the oral tablet for yeast. This has been an on going issue and I am post menopausal. Id like to find out whats really going on. Next time, its off to the ob-gyn.

I have had the same thing. Clumpy dries up fast and theres alot of it. after shower comes back within 3 hrs. I recommend flucanazole from doctor. It helps mostly ALL yeast infections and cut down on sugar intake .. Can cause this clumpy white discharge that wont go away

I know this is an old post but I too had the toliet paper discharge that would not go away with yeast infection treatments. I battled this discharge along with abnormal paps. I kept going back to the doctor and still nothing. Finally it came back that I had cervicitis. Once I was treated for it my discharge completely went away. I would ask my doctor if that could be a possiblity. Hope this helps.

I think your on to something most definitely ! I have never had a vaginal tissue paper issue until my bc wore off and now my hormones are out of whack ! I'm taking a low dosage of bc to see if it makes a difference. I know it's not a yeast infexti

Oh my gosh! I hope you are right! I am going to try to treat this as if it was what you say it could be and I'll update after. Thank you so much! I've been reading these posts for days and you are the only person that has some sort of answer. The symptoms are exactly what I have. Not a yeast infection. It's got to be this.

Hi ladies , Hope I can help some of you. I had the same thing for a few years. It's called cytolytic vaginosis. It didn't hurt and there wasn't odor, however I would get a build up of white chunky discharge. The only way I can describe it is looking like wet toilet paper. I too would have to scoop it out until the next time I would find more. I hated having sex with my boyfriend because it would appear on his member after intercourse. I never went to the doctor and researched everything on my own because the problem is not common and it is often mistreated as a yeast infection. I had the problem for about 2 years and (knock on wood) it has been gone for about a year now. Chemically speaking, this occurs when your pH is too low. Which is caused by acidic foods such as yogurt and coffee. In order to remove the chucky discharge, you must watch your diet. I think diet is the most important part, you are what you eat. Avoid acidic foods. Like I said, yogurt is a big one. Also for me I had to eliminate feta cheese :-p. Research what acidic foods are in your diet and cut them out. Another thing that I swear by is lemon water ! LEMON WATER is thought to be acidic but it actually acts as a base in your body. Drink water with lemon in it every day. Finally, the baking soda capsules work but only for a short time. I would do these to help but you can't depend on them to ultimately change the environment of your body. I hope I helped!

Greetings Ladies. I am grateful to see this thread, I seriously was like WTF is this.... ok so here's my story (tmi but helpful)

When I shower 99% of the time I clean myself (with finger).... usually its normal based on the time of the month, ovulation, etc.... but never this!! So tonight while cleaning myself I see this white clumpy (like wet toilet paper) stuff.... immediately im thinking, ewww WTF, ummm am I preggo (Hub and I are trying) OMG is something wrong with me, all these thoughts ran through my mind.... then I decide to Google white clumpy discharge and found this thread. After reading and thinking of changes that ive made recently it dawns on me, IVE BEEN TAKING VITEX!!! I only took it for 3 to 4 days two 400mg pills, this is supposed to help you get pregnant, but it increases your hormones, and is usually used by women with irregular periods, well I am regular trying to be proactive, and I really think my hormones increased so much it back fired on me. I haven't taken the VITEX for a few days now and this happens.... Soooooo I am 85% sure its due to your hormones, such as change in birth control pills, taking natural herbs that increase your hormones, or other things that change your hormones. I feel soo much better after reading this thread, thank you ladies, and best of wishes to other ladies that read this thread. By the way, the girls that talk about yeast infections, I believe the discharge will be followed by pain, smell, etc.... yeast has a VERY potent smell, just an FYI. I know mine is not an infection. Don't freak out, eat a healthy diet and regulate your periods and if youre on birth control I suggest switching if it doesn't go away after a couple of weeks, the pills may be too strong for you. Best of wishes to you all. Thank God for sites like this!!

Yes it is you just have to go see a doctor. Tell them that u think it may be more then a yeast infection. They should test you and if it is trich you will have to take some medicine and it should go away. Could be va ginosis also

Your right. Any kind of fragranced soaps, etc. can cause issues with your vaginal Ph. There is a reaction that occurs. Also remember to wash your unders with unscented & dye free detergent. It's a good idea to wipe him down with something that is hyperallergentic as well, or begin with oral so your getting the fragrance and chemicals off of him. :) save our lady parts!!
