I have small white particles in my urine (like tiny, short strings). I did provide a urine sample to the nurse praticitioner at my clinic and it was negative fo any infection. I have no otehr syptems, take no medication. I am extremely healthy and feel fine. What could this be? Should I see a urologist? Thanks.

hey, well...me and my husband went to the dr's not so long ago, because he also noticed white particles in his urine, and it kind of burned when he went to the bathroom. For our bad luck, we were both treated for chlamydia. Hopefully, u dont have this std and is just a common urinary infection like ur friend said.

Hi,
The white particles might come from yeast infection. But the thing that you said that tests showed no infection in the body is confusing a little bit. But this is not the only thing that might be causing this condition. How much water do you drink during a day? If you drink enough water per day, the water helps your body to flush out the dead cells from your body. Test will usually show no abnormalities because there are none. This is a normal thing that should not concern you at all. The thing is that you need to drink enough water so your body can wash out these dead cell so they don’t build up in your body.
