I ate 2 dishes of crawfish 24 years ago and had a severe allergic reaction. The doctor told me never to eat "any type of shellfish again". About 10yrs ago my wife and I were at a Red Lobster restaurant. She had lobster, me a fish sandwich. I broke and I "licked" a very small, very small piece of lobster meat from the tail and Bam!, my lips swelled, but the question is I have eaten shrimp with absolutely no reaction whatsoever, Why Lobster and not shrimp?
