I’m 48 years old and I’m in menopause. I have certain health problems and my doctor thinks that I should try with Hormone replacement therapy. I’m not sure about that. I know that I will feel better but I heard that HRT has many side effects. Tell me will HRT up my risk of stroke?
You are right. As I know, HRT can be very effective and it can bring you relief from many menopausal symptoms but I also know that this therapy may cause some damages. Researches show that HRT can increase risk of breast cancer, coronary heart disease and strokes. But sometimes HRT is necessary.
