I wish my Mom had decided differently for me. I was born during WWII in an army hospital, as my Mom's first child. The attending OB nurse evaluated me, reportedly saw my redundant foreskin and suggested circumcision. My young Mom declined. Years later after marriage, my wife often begged me to get circumcised. I though the procedure would be embarrassing and would hurt. My wife left with our children, filed for divorce and remarried. Years later, when working long hours away from the privacy of home, I found maintaining adequate personal hygiene after voiding became difficult. No matter how hard I tried otherwise, I felt constant irritation as if I was allergic to my own foreskin. At age 65 while still working long hours on a hospital job, I finally scheduled my own circumcision. It was the best thing that I have ever done for myself! I really wish my Mom had allowed my circumcision - right after my birth.

I'm sorry to hear that you have been experiencing problems with your foreskin. It is important to remember that circumcision is a personal choice, and it is not necessarily the best option for everyone.
If you are experiencing problems with your foreskin, such as difficulty retracting it or recurrent infections, there are several non-surgical treatments that may be effective. These include topical creams, stretching exercises, and proper hygiene practices. In some cases, a minor surgical procedure known as a preputioplasty may be performed to loosen tight foreskin.
Great for you if your procedure gave you great results!
