I have been experiencing some weird breathing difficulties that I did not have before. It seems that I just cannot take enough air in the lungs, so I am sometimes forced to breathe shallow and faster than usual. I am going to a doctor tomorrow and I am worried about spirometry test results, will those be ok? Should I be concerned at all?

Spirometry test is unfortunately, just on of several tests you could be doing. There are many reasons for your problem, asthma being one of the major ones. Still, tests will determine what the actual cause of your problematic condition is. I guess there is no point of worrying before you get the results, and even if it is asthma, with medications and therapy it can be kept under the control easily. I have a friend that suffers from it, and except for occasional asthma attacks, he lives a normal life.
